   So, after the update was installed, I tried to click on a map, but then I am stuck on the loading screen, I’ve tried it in safe mode. Nothing fixed it.

   Your issue seems to be caused a modified file? (perhaps some camera mod that was installed in the game's directory?)
   You need to perform a Clean Reinstall to fix this:
