I've been working on a more accurate nose section for my plane...I think I may have gotten a bit carried away though Just a bit...Maybe.
I thought I'd finish the model and when I finally understand how to add materials to a vehicle I'll take the latest Covet n/b, place the mesh on it and edit the n/b as much as I can.
I've said it before, but I'll say it again: modelling for 3D printing is absolute trousers. But the end product will be SO WORTH IT mod removed a certain 'd' word, yet myself and many others crack the 'f' whip without repercussion. lmao jesus wut
Background mesh from BlenderGuru: http://www.blenderguru.com/tutorials/the-secrets-of-realistic-texturing/ There hasn't been much progress on the model recently, I added a steering wheel with column (very basic) and started the interior of the trunk.
Deora II Update: Added the back end with lights. Just so you guys know, I don't plan on getting this into BeamNG. But, I do plan on getting this into Trackmania 2! Update 3/12/2016: I think im done with the engine. I looked at the toy Deora II on my desk for reference for the engine. Update 3/13/2016 I modeled the front as you can see. Looks good! I need to model the interior and wheels and then texture everything. After that, I'm gonna see if I can get this into Trackmania 2.
Wow! i remember watching the hot wheels movie and seeing the diora 2. it was brown, and i actually have that hot wheels car! Memories… It looks pretty good! oh, and it would be cool to have that in track mania.
Which Hot Wheels movie? Hot Wheels World Race? In that case the car was blue, not brown. Also Hot Wheels World Race was my freaking childhood.
A little texturing/lighting test - as you might have noticed the bottom textures aren’t even tiled - turned out to some (not too great) renders. They don’t show the latest model progress, I just re-used the latest one I had for renders.
