WIP Beta released Sunburst Parts 0.1

6.0 sets on fire :/ shame cause i would have loved to drift with it.

in some of the pictures , im seeing a race seat , but i cant find it in the sunburst parts config , ????

 

so i have a sort of fix for that. Just load the engines in the Sunburst first, then load them in the 200BX. Don't know why, but for me it fixes the texture problem. Actually the pessima with popup headlights has a similar problem.

do you have the latest version? if you do, it should be in the dropdown for the seats for the sunburst.

 

All of the V8's catch fire in the 200BX, its a shame because all that torque makes it a dream to drift. I can put it in third and huck it around a corner. I think its because the exhaust manifolds clip into the strut towers/frame rails.

 

Yeah mate, I'll be home soon to work on a fix it's just due to exhaust placement there, just remember though the 200bx was rushed last second so there is still a lot of work to do for that car, sunburst seams to work OK at this point

There are no configs as I personally hate config mods as they don't bring much to the game other than more shit in the menu haha, there are a few good ones tho, and the racing seats should just be in the driver's seat drop down, for some reason if you use both racing seats the melt so just use one haha

the no texture thing is a known problem, so is the fire. To fix the no textures, load the engines in the Sunburst first, then load them in the 200BX. Unfortunately there is nothing on our end that can fix the fire, so you're just gonna have to deal with it.

 

When will the broken seat and roll cage be fixed? Also, in my opinion, the roll cages are a little bit too weak.

 

i am currently away for work so i should be back on straya day (Friday 26 January) or possibly tomorrow evening just depends on how todays job goes (so far crap aha) ,as for the roll cage its a easy fix, the issue is i was testing a new jbeam for the extreme roll cage for the sunburst and ended up getting side tracked and starting work on the coupe , pretty sure it works in the coupe and it has the original jbeam, one of the two do, so either grab the nodes and beams for the roll cage out of the jbeam and paste them over the new rollcage or you will have to wait , as for the seats im not 100% sure whats going on with em, so that will be a bit of a wait, but ive been told if you run the drivers bucket seat and the passagngers stock seat they should work
so ill do my best to be back tomorrow to fix these issues and make custom exhausts that actually work and track down why the seats are screwed ,and maybe add the next motor (sr20det)
and as for the strenght of the rollcage it will be looked into , its just beacause its been so rushed due to work

like ive said i am doing my best with trying to sort it out, its dificult working away and trying to get that stuff sorted
as for the texture issue there really shouldnt be any because ive only used in game textures,personally i havent came across any yet but i will look into them when home

if you have any great ideas for motors or engine parts / driveline / interor parts please drop below
no barras f***ken hate them, and so do there oil pump gears
and im not great at body kits or front bars so thats a miss atm

tomorrows task is new jbeams for most things like radiators so they work correctly

 

Before you do all this cool stuff, can you please fix the bug of where the 200BX catches on fire when it's V8 swapped?

 

the coupe was added in to early and rushed due to a request,first thing im planning to do is add all the stuff to the game i had planned and bug fix it all then once it all works well ill start putting the parts onto other cars, but feel free to modify my file and make em work on other cars
