I am always trying to learn more about how Jbeams work and today I was playing around with suspension stuff. I am from America and we use Imperial units (only damn country to continue doing so) so I often use a converter when it comes to tuning. Playing with adjustable Spring Rates with ranges 30,000-120,000 N/m, when I convert this to ft/lb I get an insane weight.

    Example
    30000 N/m = 22126.8333 ft/lb

Is this exactly how spring rate is measured or am I missing something?
Common spring rates in ft/lb range from 350 to 650 which would convert to 40-70 N/m..

    Help?
