I think I can put this mod in my favourite list, very cool.

It's too difficult to make, both for the twin and tri real frame, a single steering axle? Like the photo?
Having every rear axle as a single would be nice also!

I think they mean a steering axle in the rear. Not sure tho.

I think you're right. I've asked before & it's not something that's going to get done any time soon it seems.

Considering that the front axle was "front_rear" wouldnt that mean the devs planned a 8x8 config of some sort?

As cool as that would be I don't think so. The steer axle was still called just front axle. It's the frontmost drive axle that's labelled front rear.

Though looking through the code there are signs of them possibly re-doing the trans code to support arcade mode being able to auto shift the splitter and allowing for float shifting.

    Update v0.19.1
    - Added the 10-speed 'Auto-Shift' Automated Transmission. Has the same ratios as the Dual-Shift only it shifts for you. (Uses the same code as the DCT gearboxes).
    - Added Welded versions of all interaxle diffs. This both reduces the UI clutter of diff switches and allows you to easily toggle all diffs without disabling the interaxle locks(Very useful offroad).

    Update v0.20: Euro-Style

There, I managed to hack together the much-requested liftable tag axles.

    - Available in 5 different flavors
    - Also added the option for single wheels on all rear axles
    - Added 2 new configs to make use of them. The Tc83/1 'Euro-Style' and the T84/2 Dump.

this happens to me on the front rear tridem axle only. Tried clearing cache but didn`t solve. It`s on my side?

Tag axle are awesome! Would be nice to have wider axle to have single wheels in line with the front ones!

    Thanks for the mod

Loving the taglifts! Any chance of configurations that lift the rear wheel pair(s)?

There are currently 5 different variants of tag setup: Tandem with front tag, Tandem With Rear Tag, Tridem with rear tag, Tridem with front tag, and Tridem with front tag x2.

Did you mean adding a tridem setup with 2 rear tag axles and 1 drive?

Yeah was thinking of a tridem setup with 2 rear tag axles, useful for when manuvering a 10-axle build.

Thanks again for the great mod btw!

Okay, that should be fairly easy. Just never made it as I've never heard of a truck running such a setup. (Though around here tag axles are non-existent).

the best setup, and realistic, would be mid axle fixed and front and rear liftable

The 'road ranger' transmission doesn't work. It just kills the engine immediately.

Hey, so I use a shift knob with a range and splitter on it. I've noticed that only the normal 10 speed and the 18 speed use your range and splitter bindings. The super 10 and the two 12 speeds still use beamng's toggle range status bind, which means I can't bind it to my shifters toggle switches. If you could make the super 10 and 12 speeds use your bindings in the next update, that would be great!

Oops. Looks like I accidentally reverted the transmission code to a previous version which fudged up all the lua code.
I just pushed update 0.21.1 which should fix the 18-speed and all the bindings.
