Can we buy you a coffee for your work ? --- Post updated --- That would be great if we could control every differential on the front and rear as much as this was possible on older version, but I wasn't able to do it again. Am I missing something?
As nice as that would be I don't know how to go about setting up something like that safely and securely. As for the individual diff controls It should be doable. Though I'll likely have to make duplicates of all the diffs on the truck.
The only other problems I'm having is the the tanks in the middle of the frame are very lose and just flop around and that the diff locking is messed up
After the new update in september 2024 the mod is crashing the game. Twinsteer front frames are spawning only, without rear frames and the options to customize them in the vehicle configurator. If I try to spawn a saved vehicle of mine with twinsteer frame and cab, the game crashes. what can I do?
Also, apparently the left twinsteer fender's mesh didn't get removed correctly, so it still gets pushed out of place by the exhaust stacks. Now this I have to see. In another mod.
I just noticed that certain axle setups glitch out the Brake Thermals UI app. It's still physically there, but won't show anything. Perhaps 0.33 broke it somehow, since it happens most frequently when there's a lift axle equipped.
Update 0.62 - Added Air-Ride rear suspension to the MD-series(ported from T-series) - Added the 640-cui Belasco engine from the MD into the T-Series(Fits in the T-60 and TC60). - Fixed some incorrect length driveshafts. - Added a V8 variant of the Twin Steer AWD transfer case to fit the better with the V8 engine. - Altered the 'Snubnose Sleeper' and 'Mixer twinlift' to use the 640 cui i6 - Re-added the 'T62 Snubnose tractor' config. - Added a dump truck config with air suspension to the MD. It might be the suspension mounts are far enough forwards in that case and knocking them loose. The diff lock is a base game issue with now the diff locks are now setup causing them to toggle between reaf diff and interaxle with the keybind rather than both together. It's been working fine for me. Do you have the app scaled tall enough to display all the brakes? Given the responses I decided to go ahead and create a Ko-Fi page: https://ko-fi.com/epicfacecanada
I was messing around a bit and the flopping seem to be caused by the sleeper versions of the twin-steer day cab and tv80 version. I had 6 of the same configs for each cab type and only the tv80 and normal day cab sleepers where were having the problem. there was no lift axles just stock tandem drive suspension. Did it on both air and beam types. It happens on each rear frame type from single drive to the long upfit. Also I still have the crashing problem. idk if you saw the edited part of the one post but I'll put it here just in case (I think it has to do something with the lift axle and the AWD twin-steer front axles. If I remove the lift axle I can put on the sloped frame end with the AWD twin-steer axles. And if I remove the AWD twin-steer axles I can put the lift axle back on with the sloped frame ending on. But if I put the AWD twin-steer axles back on it will crash. and the same if I put the lift axle on with the AWD twin-steer axles on. So I'm pretty sure its something to do with these 3 parts ( AWD twin-steer axles, Lift axle and the strait sloped frame ending) on both the long and medium length upfit frames.)
Been working on making the T-Series suspension compatible. Let me know if you want to integrate/fix/finish what I have.
Now that you mentions sleepers I just checked those and found the attachment beams get very stretched out with those. Also I found the code in the lift axles that was breaking AWD in edge cases. Those will get fixed next update. As for the crashing issue I've tried a lot of different ways to try replicating the issue but haven't found anything so far. If you've got at least some of the suspension variants complete then we could look into adding it to this expansion if you want.
I have a few done. Well, maybe not "done", but available & mostly working. I also have new driveshafts available for the tridem stuff.
forget about the crashing rn its probably something on my side. But about that problem with the AWD-twin steer axles not working properly. it seems to be linked to the lift axles. if you have the front lift axle the front twin-steer axle is not driven. If you have the rear lift axle the rear twin-steer axle is not driven. have both lift axles both are not driven. Shown in the video. and the axle shafts are still missing. edit: that's what you were talking about when you said (Also I found the code in the lift axles that was breaking AWD in edge cases. Those will get fixed next update.)
As I said above I found the bit of code that was bugging out the AWD and it will be patched in the next update
yeah I reread it when I posted the reply and realized what I sent is what you were talking about. sorry bout that.
I used the one I found in the game's mod manager. sorry, I'm new in using PC games and I don't know a lot of things
I'd been busy redoing this mod for the latest update lately and don't have any major plans for trailers ATM. Though I do have a minor addition in the works which I'll likely add to it in the next week or so.
I literally just remembered that we used to have duallys and wide singles on the lift axles. Any way we can get them back?
