I agree, thats pretty much the whole point of the existence of MD Series in the BeamNG Universe

When using the new V8 engine it moves the transmission and transfer case forwards a bit. To fix this select the "twinsteer V8" transfer case which is extended backwards so that it will have the right driveshaft spacing.

It's not worth adding as even the heaviest spec D-series still isn't enough to properly haul a semi-trailer. There's also the issue of air brakes to contend with.

oh, right. sry, I had my mind thinking of basically the goosenecks but with a smaller kingpin and 5th wheel setup instead
speaking of brakes: could hydraulic brakes be used on the MD-series, on the note that some class-B trucks like the chevy c4500-5500 use these?

Talking about brakes, not sure what it would take to do this but is it possible to make a version of the MD-series with hydraulic brakes instead of air brakes? Since driving a vehicle with air brakes requires a CDL in the US, many medium duty trucks offer hydraulic brakes for rental and lighter applications, where they might be driven by regular people rather than professional drivers

Note: Trucks with air brakes doesn't necessarily mean a "cdl" is involved. As long as the trucks gvwr is under 26,001 lbs and it has air brakes or not, it is not required to hold a cdl to drive it.

Looked it up and turns out a cdl is only required in this case, if the vehicle is transporting hazmat or more than 15 passengers (i.e. a bus) but not for regular cargo. I stand corrected on the rest.

I did once copy-paste the MD-Series brakes and modified them to be "airless". A pickup truck with airbrakes makes zero sense IMO.

    Update 0.65
    - Added Headache Rack Fuel Tank
    - Added wide wheel T60 hood
    - Altered "Log-Mule", "Dirt-Runner" and "Slant-Nose Heavy" configs to use the new tanks.

Hey I got a question for a future update. Some trucks in the world have the rear steerable front wheels located further back. Is it possible for a future update to have the twin steer wheels further back?

That's probably the hardest and most cursed thing to do to the T-Series I've heard of so far.

    I like it.

EFC what are your plans or ideas that you might add later on for this mod? People keep suggesting things, as did I. so I was wondering what you actually have planed and if you have any interesting ideas that your thinking about adding. I feel like this could help people with coming up with more reasonable suggestions and ideas that could befit the mod.

T-Series is an American Truck as you may know already. So having these types of Indonesian Semi Truck Chassis builds won't be possible what so ever.

That's better off with a mod itself like the Daewoo Commercial Vehicle mod

So apparently not all tandem axle trucks require a cdl???? This International Workstar 7500 gvwr is 23,500.
