I'm not making a wide spaced twin-steer variant though I might look into moving the rear lift axle forwards to achieve a similar result. Future plans? There isn't any set plans/roadmap for the future of the mod and there never really was. This has always been a side-project of mine when I have the time so I will always add what I fancy the most at the time whether that be my own ideas or a suggestion. As for ideas sure I have plenty of ideas noted down both for this mod and even for entirely different mods. Though the vast majority of these idea's are either left on the drawing board or abandoned during creation for any number of reasons. Because of this I've learned to avoid sharing potential ideas at all until they are nearly complete to avoid creating expectations that can't be fulfilled. If you want a better idea of what suggestions I will like then these guidelines will get you closer 1. Something that has a functional impact rather than purely cosmetic. 2. Something to fill a lacking role/archetype(Ex: Shunt Truck) 3. Something that is feasible given my skills and time constraints 4. Something that is mostly grounded in reality 5. NOT replicating a specific vehicle model
Good luck trying to fit the larger engines there. The vanilla V8 is a 18L engine and that just barely fits between the front wheel hubs.
It’s technically allowed however you’d only be able to carry 2500 lbs without going over the limit, not to mention the weight probably doesn’t include an upfit body since that specific truck doesn’t have one. A pickup truck would be much more practical in this situation.
Would a natural gas (CNG) powered truck be something you consider? If you could get permission from daddelzeit to use the natural gas engine from the Wentward expansion pack, and make the stack of tanks behind the cab.
is a long upfit frame for the md-series a possibility allowing for some t-series upfits --- Post updated --- is a long upfit frame for the md-series a possibility allowing for some t-series upfits
I've been with this doubt for a long time: when using the rear EV motors, is there a difference between Multi-Drive and Single-Drive?
No. It's just not that interesting to have a copied engine with a slightly different power output and uses different fuel tanks. Looks like I forgot to copy the edited transfer-case model to the release. Will fix next update. Maybe in future but not anytime soon as that would be considerable undertaking The visible model is placed differently to match the different axle models for tandem drive vs single drive.
has the twinsteer large/aero conventional sleeper been figured out? i remembered you had that planned and thought i'd ask, tho i hate to rush you especially on something you made/did for enjoyment
Hi, Loser2817 <:3 , Can you make the tag axle(which is has double wheel that has lifting system , in v0.56 or older) work again in the latest mod ? Thank you D
That... that's far beyond my know-how. The only reason I successfully brought the Auxiliary Sleeper cabs back is because they were already there in the first place. They did get removed at some point, but it was deceptively ease to replicate them. --- Post updated --- I literally just noticed the Electric Hydraulic Pumps are painfully weak. Extending the Rollback Deck with the Heavy Duty variant took 5-10 MINUTES.
OK , I had been test that put the tag axle to the latest mod and it is works , but it has a lot of problem . Such as the Break system only work on first rear axle ; Truck will "fly on the sky" when choose the Demountable Rim Hub or Steerable Tag Axle, And the Driveshaft is invisible when choose tag axle. (I will send a image later that how to drag tag axle parts to latest mod. >:3 ) --- Post updated --- Here is a Image There is
Not to be that guy, but for once I want to be sure that my T-Series won't randomly yeet itself into the cosmos because of one faulty piece. You might want to hold off from uploading and work to fix that :d
another couple things i'd ask: would the single front axle also get the new model transfercase like the twinsteers instead of some awkward stub? and wouldn't twinsteer driven axles also have their own inter-axle diff like the rear axles?
