Yep, jbeam is perfectly fine.

 

how do i make it go down?

 

You can press G to move stuff (do it in Edit Mode ofc), and pressing X, Y or Z makes it so that you’re only moving along said axis.

 

how do i perfectly do it? i cant see if its the same height as the other

 

Hmm.
I don’t know.
I’d suggest first rotating one of the lights 180 degrees along the Y axis, because I swear they’re turned around different ways. Then maybe I could come up with something.

 

should they be turned the same way or opposite ways? also it didn't fix t

 

Select all the L stuff, go to edit mode, press A to select all, then type in RY180.

Hmm.
Not to worry, I have a plan.
Go to edit mode with all the stuff from only one side selected. Then, select everything (press A) still in edit mode. Press this little arrow:

Then, make sure “global” is selected in the thing you just popped up.
Save the X, Y and Z coordinates somewhere.
Then, tab out of edit mode, then select the other set of headlights, tab over to Edit Mode with those, select everything, then paste those coordinates in the thing that you copied them from, and remove/add a - on the X coordinate.



Actually, could you just send the .dae here as an attachment? If you did, I could try sorting the issue out.
