WIP Beta released The Last Barstow V8 0.96.1

who guys easy it's just a test , if the jbeam fails it wilk not even be released so i'm finishing the current model to be more refined,the trunk jbeam is already a disaster so don't get your hopes up it's just a demonstration and as Nathan said there is already a barstow ute/pickup mod availible,if i get it to work proper it will be add if it fails the project will be scraped.

Got the trunk and the glass in,and to answer the question from Nathan and Damiean,i thought of doing a rear window,i have the orininal Barstow window frame seporated and saved as .DAE so if i need it, i got a rear window frame standing ready. but since it's a first test to see how the model is in game,i like to keep things simple at the moment as this project can be scraped

Well guys to my own surprise the pickup body j.beam jbeam went extremely well.it's just the trunk i still have to figure out and a rollcage will be possible too just need to adjust the rollcage to fit proper.

And i redid my chase special wheels,this was my first big blender project,they are now cleaned up,clean as a whistle.

 

Love the new ute addition for the mod. Do you think it would be possible to make a custom dash similar to this with just a few gauges and maybe a GPS integrated into the center? It would be good for making Pro Tourers, as it has the classic, clean and simple look, but with modern touches added in.

 

Will the ute get a rear-engined config? It'd be pretty neato.

hey no sorry no rear engine planned,to much hassel to get that to work

 

I got the rear window + frame in and it breaks proper so i just need to finish the interior side of the window frame.And i sorta got the trunk jbeam to work,so that it doesn't space out in the middel of the rear bed section.

BTW i like the idea of a rear mounted v8 ;-) forgot to mention that but as said not ideal to make.

 

will they be a off-road version?
will it have bed accessories listed \/
camper shell.
bed cover.
off road roll bar.
bed rack.
all adjusted for it.

And the ultra wide Pickup body is made to along with 3 configs but unfortunatly i overwritten the interceptor config by accident,i will replicate it later on.

 

That's a serious evolution from the base model, and I'm proud of being able to help with it.

 

Wow! That looks really good. I bet it would become a great competitor to @BarmyPark's Barstow ute.
I might sound dumb requesting something, but maybe you can do a shooting brake/wagon body-style next?

hey thank you Nathan,and there are no dumb suggestions,it's always the possibility thats questionable and to spoil things a bit a shooting brake was in the planning, let's say that i am planning an attemt at this after i finish some stuff on the pickup,like some more wide body variations.as for compition i don't really beleave in that,i believe in individual creativity that gets chared among people who have the same hobbies,and learn something along the way,compitition only creates rivalry,and i feel that belongs in the old world that got us no where,sorry for the philosofical mumbo jumbo ;-)it not bad intended just my point of view on the subject.;-)

 

Is there any chance of a “last moonhawk” once this mod is complete? Just curious because it wouldn’t be right not to leave that beautiful car without a crazy makeover.

hey, no sorry i made a wide moonhawk as test there are pictures in the discussion section somewhere but it is for personal use,and i am staying with the gavril brand.it's all to much work to maintain and knowing that i have a terrible health condition,i like to concentrate on the things that are important to me and thats mainly the barstow mod for as long as i can keep it up.

how about a old monster truck chassis? can be changed in front/rear suspension. & old monster truck wheels & tires.

Dude how often do i and others have to say it stop with the suggestion bombs,i am following my workflow and you are constantly interrupting it,you have some great ideas but i can't be the one to realise that for you,i suggest you do like i did, start nowhere but a bunch ideas,Not to mention i build my own pc from scratch(used to have Playstation1-4) to start designing,just by following some you tube tutorials and some help from my dad.
You have to bite the hard bullit hope someone wants to help you get started and point you in the right direction Like i had with Gavril_T85(still big thanks bro)And put in the hard work,thats the only way your dreams will come true my friend not by forcing your ideas upon people
