The safety of these cars is quite impressive.

I smashed into a tree going ~90 MPH when I came over the crest of a hill and had to turn right then and there.

Despite completely smashing the front end, the rest of the car is fairly okay. Even the driver-side window is still intact.

P.S. That new node grab system works great when you have a tow hitch on a car. This car was jammed in the tree at first.

I think your the first person that actually sees it that way.... most of the people on this community seem to think that the cars crush far to easily... so good on you :)

Yea, that particular car is extremely well built, so it doesn't come apart very well. On the other hand, the older vehicles don't quite display that same level of safety... and rightly so.

Yeah, the Hirochi SRB is very fragile, but the Sunburst would probably do very well with real crash test ratings

The 200bx likes to fold it's roof under pressure, so not very safe.

And the covet. The moonhawk is very weak at the rear and the fuel tank explodes easily.

Those are old cars, from times when safety wasn't that big of a deal.

Including Airbags, and if you look at the Burnside, even seatbelts.
    Wait, that's technology, right?

Ehh... depends on your definition of "technology"... but I would say it would be.

Yeah, wasn't quite sure if "technology" involves electronics in English.

If you've got a Brittish car, i can only pray for you that "technology" doesn't involve electronics.

I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about whatsoever.
My family only has Fords and Citroens.

Just the connection in your post between English (England) and technology/electronics.

I've read my post again and it indeed is a bit unclear, it was just a quick brainfart.

Good choice of car brands BTW

Now I see what you did there.
Ferrari and Maserati make nice cars as well though.

Technology- Anything that has been invented that serves a purpose.
So yes seatbelts are technology, so is a pencil, and key caps, and bottle caps.
