sorry to be a pest but i dont have that option, the only selectable options in the box is 'off' 'partial' and 'full'

Pressing ALT+O makes a screenshot, and uploads it to beamng web site.
The link you need is automatically put into clipboard (where you just need to hit CTRL+V to paste it into the box that comes up when you click the picture button on the forum post app). Just remove the /m after the beamng dot drive dot com part and it'll come up as a good link/pic.

Partial should be helpful over full shadows to make sure you don't hammer the cpu too hard. OFF is a last-resort, but if you need it, it's there.
They may have renamed 'player only' to 'partial' shadows for some reason or another, I don't exactly know why but have an idea as of why. I'll have to ask them. Just experiment with options and see what works, and what looks just too ugly to use on a daily, and so-forth. Try to get to 40~45fps if possible, for best experience.

 

aaah thank you, normally i get a solid 60 with low settings with a few thing put up, however when i get on a very barren map then i splurge on settings a bit and still get solid 60, its just that my Ryzen 2500u does NOT like ecusa. Oh and thanks for the advice on screenshots, it'll come in handy one for sure

i've done some testing again and it seems that 'partial' only removes small things, like mirrors. And still shows buildings and other large fps consuming things

How much RAM do you have installed in your computer?

 

I was just wondering if there is a hospital in this map, because a D45 Ambulance made that thought cross my mind.

My only suggestion is adding a few time trials.

 

I like the road part of the map, but not the track part. Its possible this is because of Beam.NG, and not Bob, but still. The thing is, some of the tracks are SLIGHTLY misaligned in places, and the thing I like to do the most in Beam.NG is drive trains. So, if you have that engine that looks like an SD40-2, and you go over one of these misaligned places, that's it for your train. Seriously, that's how a train I spent about 15 minutes working on was on the ground in less than 45 seconds, and now I can't get those 15 minutes of my life back. So I have to transport freight via road, which isn't as interesting.

That's funny that you say that. As I had my fair share of train frustrations, and have just given up. I've decided that BeamNG is for cars, and I"m not looking back.

Wait a second. Maybe driving on the road is interesting, especially that time when a bus decided to follow the speed limit imposed on roads in neighborhoods, and I was right behind in a semi truck.
