Of course you get the battle scars with the ground while the bike gets nothing
Your bike may be trying to laugh cause you harmed it lol

Similarly, Ive seen someone run straight into a telephone pole in the middle of a parking lot once. No curbs, cars or rocks in sight but they couldnt avoid that foot wide pole.

One time, I forgot to tighten the bottom bolt of the caliper on my Lefty fork (you have remove it in the rare cases of taking off the front wheel.) I rode all the way to the trailhead and the caliper decided to shake free and preceded to go for a spin in the spokes before snapping the hydrolic line. Had to cancel that ride and ease home with no front brake. "Hey bike shop dude, Ill need another $80 brake line" They told me I'd need a whole new front brake.

If you mean "worst accident", that would be all the times I was taking off too hard from a stop light and the chain popped off the chainring and I flew over the handlebar, smashed my groin on the stem and slashed open my leg open on the big ring. Im sure that the 1, 2, 3 combo move, with a messenger bag full of groceries flying across the intersection was quite a sight.

i dont think all bikes have those issues depending on what brakes you really had cause mine are disk brakes but of course when they get wet doesnt do any good

bikes arent really easy to fix either like if you ripped your brake cord since my bike actually have the brake lines going into the frame of the bike and out the back and to the brakes
so trying to replace the rear brake line is a pain

trying to remove a tire depending on your brakes and chain setup on it real big pain all it does is make it harder to reinstall the tire
here you want a easy job cause you dont have to worry about your car breaking down when you have a bike
    nope
you mine as well stick with a car its quicker but then again it is more dangerous especially with all the drivers with their license from a cereal box

Well, not a mistake, but my chain fell off my bike while I was riding, got caught in the gears, and my bike rolled a few times as well as myself. Had to walk back home with my knee, arm, and legs hurting like crap.
