In my experience, very big turbos with a lot if boost can do it

Any turbo race config held at full RPM for a couple of minutes will overheat the turbo, the ETK 1 seems to do it easily under normal race conditions with a manual transmission.

Right, but my car was never upside down/on its side or anything. It was just bent and smashed from derbying. And I just got this message saying that the motor was starved of oil. I could see the head gasket blowing and leaking coolant/water into the motor which would hydrolock it I suppose. But this has happened without getting any message saying that the gasket had blown.

I'm not sure abut that, but it happens a lot, so I think that after some kind of hit, block, oil pan or something is going to be damaged and will cause leak of oil. Seems realistic but don't know if it was intended or not, because it wasn't ever mentioned in changle log or by any dev, but seems it works as it should. But then I can't understand then why "blueish" smoke comes from exhaust if leak is outside, so it may be caused by changing engine position in engine bay and "game think" car is upside down or something. I'd like to have answer from DEV because it interested me from the beggining.

@Drivver I think I've seen that in YBR videos, sort of. I remember being mystified by it, but I don't remember the actual circumstances. I wonder if oil sloshing was secretly implemented at some point?

Yup, that's what I was wondering too, because I've seen motors tipped back that far before, but I would think that would affect the carb and fuel intake more than the oil. I could see the pan being hit and punctured/cracked because of the crossmember, but again, it'd have to be a pretty flimsy pan. Had a lot harder car in real life that had the engine cradle smashing into the pan, but just dents. Still running that motor.

has anyone else been rallying and went over a jump and had the engine starve of oil?
