idk about this mod when it comes to asphalt, didnt test the other materials. asphalt feels like im on a drag strip, i flipped each and every car i tried, including gt3 and gt4 in high speed corners, i have never seen that before. also feels like that you can take corners much faster with cars then their irl counterparts would. but im also not a expert. so yeah idk image related
Unzip the mod, open groundmodels, under asphalt set strength to 0.9 instead of 0.95. It isn't perfect, but it's harder to flip cars and you still grab. Don't forget to rezip the mod and put it into the mod folder. Hope this helps!
it was also very well stated that in Version 8 slicks are not ready just yet... --- Post updated --- try all the versions, thats why they are there for personal preference
Thank you. This is useful! There are many problems with tire grip on different surfaces in the game. Sometimes cars (especially trucks) cannot move and skid where this should not happen, the slightest obstacle and the truck can no longer drive without blocking even on dry asphalt. Driving onto the side of the road in the game does not interfere with racing. In reality, driving onto a dirt side of the road poses a serious danger of critical skidding at high speed.
They were actually providing some useful information there, as many people do falsely believe that you need to put all of your mods in your repo folder. If you do this, you lose the ability to keep track of which mods are from the repo, and which mods are those that you have downloaded from elsewhere. In my experience it is preferable to separate repository mods from those sourced elsewhere, for troubleshooting practices. My 2 cents. I'll try your mod and drop in with feedback.[/QUOTE]
It's either that, or it's a modded map, some modded maps can overwrite the groundmodel. Try a stock map, or a different map in general.
No problem, I'll have to figure out a workaround for that, cause it is especially annoying for the nordschleife
