tire grip should be increased.

I think the tire grip should be up by 25-30% for every tire in the game, when you put on race tires that handle like normal road tires in real life while every other tire just understreers heavily to the point where I end up using race tires no matter what to get a realistic driving experience or I use modded tires

What cars are you driving where the race tyres handle like normal road tyres? Normal road tyres will lose grip quite easily when pushed hard; sport and semi-slicks are often a significant improvement over the standard tyres

I think you'll find the tire grip as it is quite accurate for the most part when you use the G-Force meter to visualize the actual forces the tires handle.

BeamNG has nailed the tire grip factor. You feel the lack of grip because there is no dramatic camera movements or fov changes like in most other car games. Check out this video from MuYe.

Increase the FOV setting or use mods like enhanced chase and interior cams for a better sense of speed.
Edit: also you could record urself driving around fast, and then replay after toggling the external camera (i think the default key for that is 4) to see ur car take the corner from an other perspective.

I fully agree with @pathole and this is not because I hit a wall at the first corner, this is just because sometimes I drive almost straight and I lose grip, then lose control of the car. I noticed this with some Ferrari mods, OK these are not official cars, but I also experienced this with the vanilla sport cars like the Scintilla. How can this can lose grip as soon as you turn the driving wheel? I am not sure the grip is so well simulated in the game. It is OK for standard cars that are not that fast, but not for sport cars IMHO.

Have you ever driven a seriously fast car? The tyres are fine; they're not perfect, but for the way the game is built they handle well. If anything some of the race tyres are _too_ grippy. Standard tyres cannot withstand being pushed that hard and will lose grip like that if you don't slow down sufficiently.

I am sorry to say I disagree. Yes, I drove several race cars, such as Porsche 911 Turbo Cup, Jaguar F-Type, Ferrari F430 F1 and Lamborghini Gallardo. OK, it was a test drive on a race track, so I didn't push them to the limit, but... In the game, sometimes you drive almost straight, I am not talking about hard turns, just a slight turn at high speed, and you lose control, the rear wheels lose grip. Honestly, I don't think this would happen in real life. When you drive this kind of car IRL, you have the feeling it sticks to the road. When you drive them in BeamNG, you feel like you drive on a wet road.
    This is my opinion.

As the other guy said, its the lack of a sense of speed. Also are you on keyboard or controller? Because if so thats also the problem.

You may be right about the sense of speed, see the thread I have just started here. I may underestimate my speed, which is why I believe the car should stay in control whereas I lose the grip...
I use a Logitech G29 wheel and pedals, I never drive with keyboard or controller.

Idk mate, grip feels fully alright. Ive been running nords for years, even ran a leaderboard for the mp community to beat each other over for just aslong. When i watch irl races or just irl onboards of touristenfahrten it doesnt look that much different. In fact it looks like cars loose grip earlier irl then in game, also because the track is actually dirty irl and the tires go through heat cycles. The scintilla is one of my fav cars as well, i casually keep up with race cars just using the base scintilla with its base sport tires. Ive met fancy irl and fancy esport drivers in beam, raced against them, lost plenty of times and asked them what they think about the game and they are all happy with how it feels on the vehicles feedback, the grip and ffb besides some minor complaints ofc. 25-30% more grip would be INSANE.

If someone wanted to go into detail of comparing irl nord runs with ingame nord runs then feel free to take a peak on the leaderboard. It covers every vehicle in the game, every vanilla config as well. A player could pick a base config and not edit it and it would have its own leaderboard. It also separated between those players who used any arcade settings such as arcade abs and those who didnt. Cause turns out eg arcade abs is generally faster. So perfect for someone who wants to go ahead and compare times to irl runs leaderboard (8000 smt total laptimes btw)

I agree with you. Sometimes I feel it is OK, sometimes it looks strange to me.
My opinion keeps changing on that topic because of various experiences. Yesterday I was driving a Ferrari 288 GTO mod with race tires and it was feeling absolutely perfect.
But recently I was driving a powerful variant of the Scintilla, and when accelerating in a straight line, I lost grip on the rear wheels and lost control of the car, this looked strange. I will try to make a video to illustrate this

That just sounds like you put on too much throttle too soon. That happens irl to people driving much more powerful cars than they can handle.

Also use a g29, hate to break it to you but it is a beginner wheel so it doest help the same way an expensive monza would.

I am sure about that. The G29 is not only a beginner wheel, it is also an affordable one :D
