it would be nice to have the ability to choose diferent tires for a car. like old junk tires, normal tires, sport tires, semi sliks, sliks, drag tires, wintertires, offroad tires, spikes, etc, etc. each one would have a different grip level on an specific surface. like the offroad tires have more grip on grass or mud than normal tires, and sliks would stick to the asphalt like they where glued on, but they slip on grass. .... you get what i mean.
Or to begin with some actual traction, when you select the bolide it's like playing slippy slidey cars the game XD
Bolide handling improvements are coming in the next patch. Just relax and don't floor it constantly while turning. It pulls over 1G, which is a lot of grip. As for the original question: Yes, something like this is planned, but we don't have an ETA. Like I've said in other posts, we have a to-do list a mile long.
