Is anyone having the same issue? - Everything else seems to work great however the roads keep turning white?
Now I don't know if this has been resolved, but when it comes to traffic, we shouldn't have foreign police cars spawning because it just breaks immersion, especially because the BX now has a police Diana variant.
I did originally have an older version installed, so I removed it and installed the updated version but still does the same thing?
You can also do the following: a smart cache clean: go to your "temp" folder, "levels" and then delete "C1" in this. Then no cache issues (=leftovers from previous verion) can interfere.
idk why but it's apparently an invalid zip file and when i try to load the map, firstly, it takes ages and even after all that time, it crashes and gives me the basic 0x000000001 error. And i did delete the cache.
On the first page To OP, I think it would be a good idea for the thread owners to put the download part in bold so people can see it more easily

Hi, I have been hosting and playing an older version of this map for over a year now on my public server. A player informed me about the new version, so I went ahead and replaced the old one. From roughly 10 players on my server, including myself, the general consensus is that the average framerate is much lower on the latest version, compared to that older one from roughly a year ago. To be clear, the FPS is improved in some areas, but the lows are now lower than before, making the experience worse overall. Yes, the latest version looks more beautiful (great job), but the lower FPS makes it unplayable in our opinion. Therefore I have a favour to ask: Please make the older versions available - this way I can revert the version I host to an older, more performant version. P.S. Google drive supports versioning, provided you haven't overwritten the file each update.
Could you clarify when the FPS is worse? Like is always worse or only during nighttime, only in certain areas, etc. That would help me find the issue. I've tested the map on various computers and handhelds and didn't spot any big issues with performance. This is the first version uploaded through Google Drive and I don't plan on supporting older versions of map or multiplayer mods.
hi, I don’t know if anyone has had this problem, in general, when I put night in the weather tab, I have no lighting in the houses, everything is fine on the road, all the lights are on, but the houses are all dark and there is no light in the windows, I cleaned cache and even reinstalled the game, but I still don’t understand what this could be connected with, is there any advice on this matter?
In areas with more light sources, such as parking areas, the FPS is consierably worsened at night, often 50% lower or more (in my case, 100 dropping to 3x). The FPS is higher in some parts of the Bayshore route during the day, but on a low end PC for example (6th gen i7, 16GB, gtx1660), the car parks such as Shibaura were worse during the day than previous versions. Not supporting older versions I can understand, but why not make the older versions available? This is a clear example when it is beneficial provide older versions to end-users. Hardware varies greatly and keeping older, lighter-to-run versions available is great for keeping users on board P.S. If you want to troubleshoot this with me faster/want more empirical data, discord is in my profile.
FPS dies whenever I go to Shibaura PA like from normally 60 to 30 or lower. night or day but night is worse
if you go to world editor, then click on the light pole head, then go to material editor and then scroll down to advanced options and then emmisive, turn off instance emmisive, then it will work, same for the parking garage, and the buildings
Looks like I broke the map by accident, I will need to release an update to fix this. This is not a solution to this problem That's quite informative. I will take a look. Ok I decided to give it a shot, and I implemented some optimizations for light shadows, and fixed one bug mentioned by people below your post. Now light rendering distance is decoupled from shadow distance, which means I can push lights much further at higher performance. This should also improve memory usage at night. If everything works fine I will release an update next week.
