Does anyone know of a guide on how to get this mod into BeamNG? I rarely import mods with links so I don't really know a whole lot.
Download the attached zip file and put it into userfolder/mods. You can access that folder through the game launcher.
Just came here to express my gratefulness for the community and this Mod! One of the best map mods out there (even though I only tried like 5 of them so far but still) Oh and I wanted to ask if it would be possible to turn the CK Map Controller into its own mod, I'd like to manage and customize other maps with that as well edit: btw Neilogical brought me here, thought that be interesting to know
Not really. Maps need to be modified to work with all those features. I was thinking about making it game wide but I'm not sure I want to do that for now. If you want ability to change LOD and some other graphical things you can check this instead. https://www.beamng.com/threads/ck-graphics-settings-mod-v2-1-fix-for-beamng-0-26.87586/
Yo that's exacly what I need! Thank you for the link, I probably would've never been able to find that mod otherwise
If your zip file is only a few hundred KB you probably overwrote the whole mod, you only have to replace the .prefab files (either drag and drop with 7-zip or unzip both to \unpacked\c1_forums if you have an extra GB to spare).
I don’t understand. Prefab files? I don’t see anything called Prefab. Is it possible you could just send the file that is already set up?
My internet's too slow to upload a >400MB file but open them both in 7-zip, navigate to \c1_forums\levels\c1\prefabs\ in both and drag and drop the files from the performance version to the original.
Why don't you make a 2nd version without the barriers blocking other roads? These are kinda problematic for me --- Post updated --- Also everytime I try to change the map to anything else, the game crashes
This is an absolutely amazing map(probably my favorite mod map of all time).Only problem I'm having is that if I crash into the guardrails, they grab the car and basically eat it alive.
Yes, I'm aware of that problem, however I don't know if there is any quick way to fix it. I know about that, it's mentioned in known issues in the first post.
Would it be possible to put a note on the post that says when it was last updated, since you can't subscribe or anything and I would like to know when I should update, or if it has been updated since I last downloaded it?
Haven't seen this suggested yet, I was wondering if there are any ideas/plans to add fueling "zones" in some places? Not sure how well this idea would fit in but if so, maybe only in a select few parking areas. Glad to see so much attention is being put towards this map!
