Hello Dayz Me Rollin, I'd like to ask you some things about the nice textures you've made for the ae86 engines. Since i am not able to contact you via pm I have to write it here. If possible could you please pm me ? Thanks
on the AE86 race setup you put on the description that the engine was formula atlantic V20 silvertop the formula atlantic is only 16V
Don't really know why they would make it fictional. For the most part (never really watched the show or read the manga), Initial D is based off real life places.
Well im sure there would be a big enough fan to do such a thing. --- Post updated --- it appears it was closed a few years ago sadly, even the building was demolished feelsbadman
Sometimes they have fictional places set in real locations. And you'd think that with Initial D's popularity, they could've been able to stay in business. I think I did figure this part out. According to a couple of pages on Wikipedia, the place originally wasn't Fujiwara Tofu Shop, but was turned into it for the Initial D live action movie in 2005.
hmmm i dont know about that but didnt seem too awfully initial d styled when i looked at a video about it, had a plain white "sign" i guess you could call it with tofu and stuff written on it and yeah i kinda expected the initial d popularity to boost sales but apparently not, it's pretty tragic imo.
As it turns out, Initial D's fanbase of mostly young weebs doesn't have money, who would've thunk it? Y'all need to take the off-topic Initial D crap out of this thread and put it into it's own dedicated thread
exactly, most of the fandom are young Americans that usually don't have the money to fly to Japan, or their parents care enough to fork out a lot of money on a glorified Corolla meme trip. I like the AE86 as much as the next person, but the Initial D fandom is quite possibly the most annoying and my personal most hated thing about it's following.
Yes, but even better would be the miramar axle since it's already very similar to AE86. I missed out on this when making my mod, but it was a more obvious choice thinking back to it. The marshal doesn't have a pan hard bar, it's got leaf springs, so the stabilization layout is completely different. So indeed it takes quite a bit of modification to make it into an AE86 style axle.
its not the fanbase perse it's the memes that annoy me more, they dont even really know what it is even about but still play eurobeat whenever something is drifting and always the same songs too but yeah we should not talk about this, it's already too much and people will come time and time again to post memes so yeah.
I just don't really bother taking Japanese language classes for 5/15 years. When I eventually get successful then I'll get the Corolla GT (European AE86) and the Sprinter Trueno Kouki Coupe
