You all just need to stop, you are constantly demanding "proof" of everything JoshTheAwesome posts, this thread has just turned into some kind of strange interrogation.
I know I just bought a new Chevy S10 But a 2001 GMC Sierra came down our junkyard and I like it. Pros and cons about each Chevy S10 Pros-- Better MPG Easier to park Clean interior No rust Cons-- Struggles To tow my ace Not so great acceleration Less technology 01 Sierra Pros-- More Power Better towing Heated seats Cons-- Worse Mpg A little rust Interior needs vacuuming and cleaning Needs new tailgate Which should I get http://www.strawpoll.me/10952150 Sierra S10 Which truck
Ditch the S10, I will not touch a 4.3 with a 10 ft pole, And with a 5.3 LS, that half ton should actually get just as good, if not better mileage.
I see you bought a Corolla of Doom. You know, I had one too. It was a 1996 AE101 Corolla DX. Fully loaded, cruise control, aircon, automatic, you name it, it was on it. 1.8L engine, it was... well, it moved. However, this car had a few quirks. First off, it looked like this: Yes, that really is it. I loved this car so much. Second off, it had a bad exhaust manifold gasket and a hole in the flex pipe. So not only did it deafen you, but it leaked into the heater core. So, when you needed to use the car in the winter, it spewed exhaust into the cabin and it killed you. It also had bad valve seats, so oil leaked into the combustion chambers. So, when you started it, it smoked like it had elected a new Pope, it leaked into the cabin, and it killed you. Then (here's the real kicker), some of the front suspension components were badly rusted. So, I was driving down the road, the front driver's side spring broke in two places, sent me into oncoming traffic, and almost killed me. I promptly sold the car. I wish you luck with your Doom.
How would we know? You didn't reference a post, so we had to assume you were replying to the last post before yours.
Let me guess. You got that corolla from Craigslist. Also, Poor Grand Marquis. It was a nice car the days it lasted.
