Trailer Delivery Not Unlocking In Career Mode

After 0.38.3, trailer delivery has stayed locked in career mode, regardless of level.

Even after starting a new career, getting cargo delivery to level 5, and getting max reputation with multiple businesses, I am unable to select any trailer for delivery. They stay red and locked, regardless of the type of vehicle I am in.

This extends from trailer hitches, to semi trailers.

Has anyone had this issue, or found any solutions to this issue?

 

I have the same problem, even though cargo delivery is at lvl 5 I can't pick up trailers.

 

are you using vanilla career mode or RLS Career mod, I was playing RLS not long ago and the trailers all worked fine in that, maybe download it and see if the problem persists?

 

I seemed to have this issue as well, didn't play in ages, so started over. I thought I was doing something wrong.

Only started yesterday again and today it did work, but now the drop offs are weird.

For example, I had a trailer for the construction site, it drops off, dissappears, get the money, but the notification to drop it off stays. Then I took another trailer there and another delivery, the auto navigation sent me to the trailer drop off, but it wouldn't work. Only after dropping off the other delivery and going back, I was able to drop it off. But the first trailer notification was still on my screen.

And yesterday, I tried dropping one off, but since it wouldn't accept, I unhitched it, went for another delivery and tried coming back, but now the trailer was gone, but still active...

 

I was having the exact same issue, went back versions and back to latest and still no luck, edited files and even installed the RLS mod mentioned above... nothing worked.
But I found the fix thanks to some wrinkle brained individual on reddit on a separate topic.
!!! Fix - Do the available Car Jockey Job from Belasco Auto Sales on the seafront, can confirm it works!!!
If the job isn't available to you, then I recommend repeating the version changes/reinstalling & verifying through steam.
