OT: 2012 Ford Taurus

Why did this junk replaced the Ford Crown Victoria.

 

The Taurus existed long before 2012, a smaller sedan rather than full-size like the CV. I think the successor to the Crown Vic was the Ford Fusion.


As for why, probably fuel reasons. Those CVs were a 14-year-old design at the time, so they probably didn't conform to the latest standards. Too bad though, Ford probably could've at least kept the name.

 

IMO the Taurus looked like an updated Crown Vic and actually I much prefer the 2012 Taurus.

 

Here's a unpopular opinion I don't like the newer Miata it just those headlights

 

The headlights are too angry for the little yappy dog that is a Miata. I agree.

 

So, if they introduced a midsize unibody sedan with a selection of crappy inline fours and called it "Crown Victoria", you would be happy, eh?

 

Eh, I don't really care about it one way or another.

 

BTW honestly I don't really mind as I live in the UK and prefer the LOOKS of the Taurus.

9th Generation Cadillac Eldorado This is my least favorite Eldorado it just the front it look so packed in while Lincoln was making this which looks so good I mean the European design did looked good while Cadillac was making the 8th Generation but with round edges
