No, seriously just take a look Also just a small WARNING, lol. I have a 4 year old laptop with a GTX 1050 ti with Intel i5 8thgen and 32gigs of Ram. Currently I would get about 30-40 fps with Ultra and Dynamic reflections settings. But when using ultra settings and my graphics I have noticed about a 5-10fps drop in some places if you have a system similar to mine. Anything above my system as far as graphics cards and other things go I can't say how this will affect your gameplay. I assume it'll be the same. Anyway enjoy!! Since the PBR update came out a while ago I felt there was something missing from beam. Well I've also looked at @Brother_Dave's graphics tutorial for Small Island as well. Anyway enough talk I'm gonna show you exactly what I've done. In 3..... 2..... 1..... All water sources now reflect the surrounding area... They can be a bit glitchy at times when looking around the map. but when driving you won't notice it much regardless... because well its Beamng lol. Including your vehicle... Vehicle lights look realistic... Vehicles reflect in game buildings, trees, clouds, water, ground, and light sources better than before... These are the settings I use, if you would like it to be a little darker adjust the "Middle Gray" slider. I wouldn't go below 0.20 as it would be to dark during the day and night. One more thing I have taken the "Blue Shift Enabled" and set it to 0, it makes the lighting look better. The Renderer Components window is located under the "Windows" tab in the top bar of the in game editor. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Installation 1. To install any of the maps open the zip file of the map you selected ex... "Utah URG.zip", then open the folder for the version you want to use ex... "Utah_512_newsky026", then move that map folder ex... "Utah". (So in this order first open the "Pink" then the "Green" then drop the "Red" to C:\Users\"YourUserNameHere"\AppData\Local\BeamNG.drive\0.28\levels folder. 2. For the "sky_gradient" zip download and extract the zip file to your C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\BeamNG.drive\0.28 folder. The gradient files will already be loaded with the new levels. 3. For "Zeit" download and extract the zip file to your C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\BeamNG.drive\0.28\settings folder. All you should have to do is copy and replace the folder in the levels folder. If you want to be extra sure it works delete the old version and replace, Thanks -Night should work better and not look like day anymore, other than the clouds still working on fixing that bit, if its possible. Update for v1.3 -Mod has been updated to 0.26 version of beamng. -A new sunflare that existed in beams editor has been used for my custom sky zip levels. -I have added 2 new versions for people who want the sky and sun settings but without water reflections. The original sky uses the default gradient files and sunflare Install process is still the same as before. For @kirbyguy22 bloom and auto exposure download both the 0.26 files and install as normal. ENJOY! Update for v1.2 The "gradient_sunscale" and "gradient_amibent" have been fixed so when timescale is played it won't be brighter and darker color shades when transitioning to sunset or sunrise. I will at some point in time. Its been one hell (in a good way) of a laptop tho. I definitely got my money's worth out of it . Screen doesn't close lol the screen plates came off the bracket on the left side a while ago but it still works lmao In all honesty I might try and upgrade my system if I can cause I don't feel like redownloading all my games and moving files lol --- Post updated --- So I've looked at the lightbars in beam and noticed that the red part doesn't show like it's supposed to well someone found the cause of this on his forum. the tonemapper that @kirbyguy22 has for some reason breaks the red part of lightbars. To fix this simple either delete the "shaders" and "temp" folder and reinstall the postfx he says to get or if you haven't already don't install the tone mapper. There isn't that much of a difference whether its installed or not for my mod. Cheers!

Alright so with the 0.26 update I will be needing to update the mod. It shouldn't take long but with our home internet being crap and it decided not to work for the time being, I'm having to use a hotspot lmao ( we're planning on moving soon lol). Interesting, I will look into this as soon as possible. Also I saw most of the comment on youtube what shader did you use along with this mod? If anyone else has had this issue with anything else and you can help, that would be great. The only thing I can think of is try clearing your cache that might work. -Grimm
i have already fixed the level problem (where theres missing levels) but for some apparent reason when i load east coast usa map with you shader mod it just turned black i Think One of the Mods are outdated Can you check for me please? Like how do you fix it it used to work before but now it doesnt i think its because im on version 0.26- i think i just realized that this no longer works because it is on 0.26 and iam on 0.26.1
Interesting. I'll look at the mods and see if they have been updated and if the game version is messing with thanks. Although I'm not sure small updates for the current version mess with most mods only if they make major changes to the map of graphics I think but then again that could be the issue. This should be what your 0.26 folder should look like, granted it won't be exactly the same as mine just what's underlined. (yes I have the latest version 0.26.1 still works fine). The UI folder is for the photo mode editor by @Brother_Dave. The settings folder should have the zeit folder in it.
i have one small question, will you also make this for other maps? because East Coast looks more realistic than real life ( i like it )
Already on it lol Utah may only get one verison of reflections since there's not alot of water same goes for West Coast USA. The settings for skies will be the same file setup as this mod original and new.
