    I wouldn't.

Especially one looking like that: stumpy profile and bulky rear end... and it wasn't even due to constraints of a folding hard top, it was a soft top deliberately styled like a beached whale.

Especially knowing it's nowhere near "luxury" but a mere exercise of (cynical) badge engineering.

Not an underrated car IMO. If anything, it's an overrated car, just because it was put into production.

Opel hasn't been able to style a good-looking convertible since Bertone went down.

The 1985 - 1992 Proton Saga. Although it's based from a Mitsubishi, but however it's pretty reliable and durable.

It looks like a mix of the Mk1 and Mk2 Vauxhall Cavalier and the Mk7 Buick LeSabre.

Which begs a question: of all the possible design inspirations, why the Cavalier and LeSabre?

Look like a rebadged Mitsubishi Lancer Mk4 to me - because that's what it is - which in turn looks nothing like either of them...

Which looks as if it was a Renault, with some Audi, Alfa Romeo and Honda inspirations.

Personally, I see a bit of Renault 21 and E80 Corolla in this car.

It's basically any sedan from the 80's that is trying to go for a futuristic design

    Okay, for real...

Let's give kudos that it's not your stereotypical Merc.

GMC's pickups always manage to better, but thus only the Sierra is most noticed. The Sonoma is kind of noticed, but not like the Sierra. I actually think this car actually kicks the new GMC designs on SUVs out the door.

Because it's actually a bloody Cruze that now costs as much as a more refined and fun-to-drive BMW 2-Series?

    Just a suggestion.

Whatever runs the world wouldn't stand another round of fake prestige.

The original pony cars were compacts tarted up to look like sports cars. Getting them to look like Italian sports cars would be too much.

To be fair, the Ranger has quite a following.

How is the Cascada related to the Cruze? According to me, the only Cruzes are Chevrolet, but I'm sure the Cascada isn't related to the Cruze, and more of a GM rebadge of the Opel/Vauxhall Cascada.

    Lotus Evora.

You have a simple, light car that can be daily-driven, having 4 seats and a reliable Toyota engine.

Most classic Japanese sports cars seem massively underrated. Here's one of my favorite classics ever... the Toyota 2000GT

    Also, Datsun 240Z:

I say they are underrated because any time I have ever been to a car show and talked to enthusiasts, many times they either do not know these cars or they dislike them because they aren't an American brand.

Oh god... it's your opinion though but I hate anything modern and Opel/Vauxhall.

YES. I'm really sick of those american muscle/pony cars, why can't we have at least one Japanese muscle car?.. (if they're considered muscle cars...)

They are more considered sport cars.
    OT:

I don't get why people don't talk much about this improved Panamera. It looks better, and it seems to get good ratings, but not much discussion on it.
