The differential in that one was tampered with so it rolled easily. It made the show more entertaining.
Think about it. The car wouldn't have been so popular if it was impossible to drive. I quite like them tbh, they're interesting.
Well, that's as an good as an motorcycle. You buy it, better take the risks of trying to handle the vehicle properly, otherwise your car will drop. Plus, I don't even know why Reliant revived the Robin 3 times. I don't see much of demand for it.
I would drive one. And my grandma has a 3-wheeled Messershmitt, they are really cool. (also, the are registered as 'motorcycles' here)
yeah you can drive a robin on a motorbike licence in the uk --- Post updated --- It was really popular here. They sold pretty well.
They sold extremely well because the working class over here couldn't afford a drivers license and a car, so instead they'd get a motorcycle license and a Reliant Robin.
Motorcycle which can transport stuff and the driver has protection from weather. I think that is actually pretty handy
Even an Sera could probably resist a bit better than an Robin. Also, it wasn't JUST an 50s car. Just look at the video I posted. That was an newer Robin, somewhere around the 70s-90s. --- Post updated --- Weird... What is the rev limit for this vehicle?
Its not all about how strong a car is. Crumple zones etc are a factor. The more I talk about the reliant robin the more I sort of want one.
ooh this ones nice https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Reliant-...039394?hash=item1ed50739a2:g:BcwAAOSwFyhaJYGr
I know, but I mean the model they altered. That was an real model, from the 80s-90s if I remember correctly. There's already concerns on motorcycles nowadays. Also, safety would've been an priority by that time. Crash tests have been around for long enough that Reliant should have atleast noticed about them.
This has been driving me mad reading everyone of your posts for months now, but please: http://www.differencebetween.net/language/difference-between-a-and-an/
