My mother has a 3rd gen Prius, which is fine for a car of its price. For hybrids in general, my favorite is the Camry Hybrid. My grandma has a 2016 Camry Hybrid XLE, and it's one of the nicest cars I've driven. It's actually surprisingly fast, and it's very comfortable.
The 2018 model is genuinely impressive. The 2018 Camry Hybrid actually gets better mileage than my mother's 2010 Prius, which is incredible for a midsize sedan.
It's one of the only modern Toyotas I like beside the Hilux, Tacoma, Tundra, Sequoia, GT-86, Highlander, and Prius Prime. (Only because it's the better Prius.)
I like most Toyotas, but there is one I just can't stand: the Sequoia. It's overpriced, underpowered, and it has appalling fuel economy. 17 MPG highway. Even the Chevy Tahoe manages 23 MPG.
It makes up with it by the TRD model. Also, I forget to mention the Fortuner. Fortuner: The fortune that Toyota can start making SUVs look good again.
Oh, I hate crossovers in general. They're too small to be super practical (not enough cargo space), and too big to be very fuel efficient. I'd much rather have a stationwagon, which has the efficiency of a regular sedan but a lot more cargo space.
That's actually a popular opinion. MANY people dislike crossovers like the Acura ZDX, Honda Crosstour, etc.
Huh. I guess it is. It's a real shame that very few manufacturers still sell wagons in the USA. The only wagons you can buy here are from European manufacturers, such as Volvo, Audi, VW, Mercedes, and BMW.
E-X-A-C-T-L-Y. The companies don't care about backseat product managers; they care about what gets them money.
Oh so? The ZDX failed to reach demand like the other Acura cars they sold at the time, so they ended production... NEVER came back after it's end.
That's one good thing Acura did before the "obvious" NSX destroyed it's fan badly. (I just realized the Crosstour was also killed off due to poor sales, freeing up production space for a few cars, including... *cough* 2017 MDX *cough*.)
