Here's a hard pill for you to swallow: If you whine about being censored, and millions of people read your whining about being censored, you're not being censored. You are simply choosing to use your platform to whine about being censored rather than to actually spread your fuckwit ideas. And if you do get banned by violating your platform's Terms of Service, that's on you - either read the ToS and abide by them, or find (or make) a website with terms you like. Never mind. If a company, like YouTube or Twitter, has an effective monopoly, then they need to let the people decide what is allowed. The first point still stands, though, and things such as harassing shooting victims (as Alex Jones did) are never acceptable...
I don't like high performance cars, and I think convertibles are worse than the standard car they're based on --- Post updated --- I also like Priuses.
Ever tried using a wireless mouse on a laptop while sitting in a train, trying to work out notes(that are also conviently placed on your lap) with someone next to you? I haven't and I don't have any intention of doing so in the near future.
I like it when games have realistic, but fictional settings, vehicles, brands, etc., like GTA, Mafia or BeamNG. Helps me get the feeling that it's a world kinda like our own, but totally different.
Remakes are more redundant than they were back in the 2000s, and also more inferior. Congratulations, Hollywood. Also, with almost every horror movies being so cliche with their jump scares and other bullshit, I would rather watch a horror movie that has nothing to do with it's franchise (Silent Night, Deadly Night 4/5 and Halloween III are good examples).
I totally agree. What's more fun is thinking and making up lore for fictional brands yourself. Absolutely. Every modern horror film: Scenes filmed on low quality VHS to give a "Found Footage" vibe. Every supporting character has to be corrupted or turned evil by some cliche ancient Sumerian demon. Convoluted plot line, like they took random scenes, drawed them out one by one, and stringed them together with "It's all a dream" or "You have to figure out whats real or not!" BS. Playing children's lullabies over dark settings to up that "Creepiness factor" to infinity.
Since it's from a game people's been hating on, this is probably an unpopular opinion. I think Fortnite's Battle Bus is kinda cool. I actually like it. Turning a school bus into some kind of makeshift hot air balloon IMO is a creative concept. It's even made me wonder if you could IRL transform a bus into something like this and would it actually fly.
I like to base my lore on reality, but with slight changes. For example, I'm planning to build an early 80s Seville/Continental-like car, but with a V12, not a V8, in Automation. Call it Bolger Laumet.
It's like they can't even come up with anything original or enjoyable... or maybe Hollywood thinks ,"Eh, who gives a fuck if it has a quality script or if it actually has a creepy tone, we will make some profit from these regular moviegoers!" It could also be due to Hollywood not understanding what makes a good horror flick. One example of a decent modern horror film was the Silent Night film (loose remake of the 1984 film Silent Night, Deadly Night), with some actual atmosphere, good composition, decent special effects, and compelling characters. Plus, with it being based off a real incident - the 2008 Covina massacre - there's actually some realism to it. But a example of a bad modern horror film would be something like The Nun, where the movie is reliant on overused cliches, jump-scares, bland writing, and uninteresting characters. Just basically like most modern-day "horror" flicks nowadays.
100% Agree, and I hate it when people try to shove shitty and out of place IRL cars into that fictional world for the sake of realism. My GTA 5 mods are always "lore friendly" and I've never had to deal with a crappy, low effort mod.
Real life car mods are fine if they're high quality, but it seems like a majority of the them don't have LODs, the glass doesn't break, the lights don't work, etc. And most of the high quality ones still kinda feel out of place in the GTA world IMO.
I can't understand what are people thinking about when they mod a modern Renault (with mandatory giant ass rims, aftermarket subwoofers and sometimes rice bodykit) into GTA SA. It is completely out of place, it is physically impossible for it to exist in that world. Some fine examples of these mods I just couldn't resist posting:
The Citroen DS is overhyped. Its suspension was like in contemporary air-suspended American cars, but with expensive, corrosive fluid instead of air, a torque converter automatic beats its semi-automatic any day of the week and its too-low-slung styling lacked substance.
