You weren't actually supposed to change 'combustionEngine' in the engine jbeam.

Furthermore you left this in, it's not game-breaking but you might want to remove it

 

Everything works except for sound, which the car still has.
do you have any ideas?

 

I don't get why people follow this tutorial, it's outdated and some parts probably don't even work anymore lol

Are you sure that you have the .sbeam file correctly set up?

 

idk, i deleted the art file and couldnt really find an an sbeam file, but everything else worked fine

Need help! the battery pack doesn't show up in beamng

 

I just modified your zip so that the battery is one same jbeam with engine.
I also fixed your battery issue because of typo on tutorial.
And added electric motor sound.
(Theres a typo on that youtube tutorial, so I'm using electric system from eSBR and Vivace)
You also can learn how I made electric car, which is more advanced than that tutorial. From repository search for
"SZR Zandak Epsilon E420S"

i tried making one with the video and i somehow messed it up but cant find the problem i dont have the option to put a battery in it or anything i dont know how i broke the file

Hello,I've tried the technique to make electric motors,but somehow I messed up so bad that my mod doesnt even appear as a car on BeamNG.
I have followed the instructions but it doesnt work.
Please,fix if you can.
