I found these unused V6 sound samples in the game, and they sound pretty good, suitable for sporty V6s. It's much less anemic than the standard V6 sounds, so I figured I'd put them ingame. And now, you can have them as well. Preview: As always, be sure to report issues by replying to the thread.
Nice find! I wonder when they added it. It wasn't there the last time I checked those folder. Where do you get those gravel & crash sounds? They sound nice.
How would get this sound to work with mods? My fullsize SQR mod has a V6, how would I make this sound work my mod?
In fact, here's all the V6 sounds I've managed to get working (excluding the broken ones, I'll do those tomorrow) In order, it goes V6_EXH_NOMUFF_OK > V6_EXH_NOMUFF_OK 2 > V6_Automation_bep > V6_EXH_MUFF_OK (Video upload isn't working right now, try again later)
Judging by the file names, we might be getting a proper exhaust sounds instead of just engine sound. It would be cool although some mods already use different sounds per exhaust system.
I like the third one. It sounds more like something you'd hear in a more purpose-built racing game. Which one is that and how did you use it?
