Re: New England Country Side (An Open Road) Released 11/3!!! Perhaps we've discovered a BeamNG bug with Nvidia cards
Re: New England Country Side (An Open Road) Released 11/3!!! I absolutely love this map! I wanted a map with long roads and here it is, thanks <3
Re: New England Country Side (An Open Road) Released 11/3!!! No problem at all my friend!! No problems with graphics or crashes?? - - - Updated - - - I just drove the entirety of my map on another computer with intel HD graphics (Freaking horrid invention). No crashes or errors. The machine I created the map on had ATI integrated graphics if that adds some detail for people having issues
Re: New England Country Side (An Open Road) Released 11/3!!! Nope, just crashed once but haven“t had another crash at the moment
Re: New England Country Side (An Open Road) Released 11/3!!! Nvidia GTX 580 Intel i7 950 3.06 ghz 4 TB ram
Re: New England Country Side (An Open Road) Released 11/3!!! No Luck for me, in my case it doesn't matter at all which car I am in. Sometimes there is not enoug time to change the car before it crashes. But i Think I am gonna test it with the Intel HD Graphics from my CPU, to see whether it keeps crashing . EDIT: Testet with the Integrated GPU of the i7 , and yep. It works. EDIT2: Found it. Texture Quality must not be higher than "normal" . With normal Textures it works @Marmanvii : 4 TB RAM .. Wow Thats a lot
Re: New England Country Side (An Open Road) Released 11/3!!! Doesn't work for me i5 2500k 560 ti 8GB of RAM
Re: New England Country Side (An Open Road) Released 11/3!!! Please try setting texture settings at or above normal!
Re: New England Country Side (An Open Road) Released 11/3!!! I love this map! I don't know why, just something about it makes me want to drive and drive and drive forever!
Re: New England Country Side (An Open Road | UPDATED 10/26! | I just tab out and back in, that usually works, and the issue doesn't occur for the rest of the play session. (Then again I'm using the ASUS custom WHQL 320.18 drivers, they seem a little more resilient to random hiccups like this breaking everything than the stock nVidia drivers.)
Re: New England Country Side (An Open Road) Released 11/3!!! Looks great, but I too get the error almost immediately after loading the map. Intel i7 2.7 (boost to 3.7) Nvidia GeForce 650M GT 1024MB 16GB RAM.
Re: New England Country Side (An Open Road) Released 11/3!!! I really think this is a nVidia bug. Any ATI/AMD users having problems? - - - Updated - - - I will upload a new version soon with default everything. My road texture said "groundmodel_asphalt1" and I'm quite sure that is a potential error. I've changed that texture over to "concrete"
Re: New England Country Side (An Open Road) Released 11/3!!! Notably without houses and rivers...I really should change the title... - - - Updated - - - Yep, map name will be changed very soon. I had to many inaccuracies to call it an NE map
Re: Valley Roads and Mountains Gave me an error message that the terrain and something else were missing, I loaded the level anyway, and it was white with a gas station and underground lake. No terrain.
Re: Valley Roads and Mountains Downloading the latest version right now, must say im excited to test this out, reminds me of my drag highway i've been working on. edit: eh.. lots of crashing randomly while playing on this map. let me guess. something to do with the fact i have an nvidia card? lol
Valley Roads and Mountains, Test release available, Page 2 Doubtful of a nVidia problem, my noobness, I guess everyone has them... Okay here is a test release. What's been done: All textures have been confirmed (by me) to be from the game's /core I may have found the crashing issue. Any objects I placed in the map came from dry rock island and in the .mis, the map was pulling the objects from there (worked for me at least)... So, every object has been placed inside the map's (/Valley Roads and Mountains) art folder with mapping edited accordingly in the .MIS file (IE any objects loaded in come from my folder). I hope that fixed it... I'm learning guys! - - - Updated - - - I guess we can call this an update
