also would like to see someone edit the 318 to be realistic(no power at low rpm currently for some reason) and make the differentials use a diff system, i did this with the dodge charger mod at one point and posted it but cant be bothered to do it here lol

 

I hate to be the prick that bumps old threads about a mod thats way outdated but.....

Why is it that for years this mod ever since it first came out as the Gladiator does it not have a properly functioning torque converter? And no one has seemingly picked up on that major flaw, thats why TMccanna it feels like it has no power, all that torque isnt getting past the TC to the rear wheels. Its supposed to have three speeds not one continuous cvt like rubber band transmission... Why hasn't anyone picked that up, its not like Torqueflites are known to act like slushboxes...

 

the 318 also has just a really strange torque drop before like 2000 rpm if you check with the app, which neither other vmotor has. the transmission also has some strange behavior ive noticed though

 

So is any one thinking on carrying the torch to keep this mod up to date, or is there not enough interest any more?

Is this mod still updated? I mainly ask because I want to know if there's ever gonna be a 1970's or 1980's style lightbar for it. Actually, did anyone make a mod for this mod that adds a classic lightbar like that?

That was because of the car’s recent update, which was in 2021. Back in 2021, openable doors weren’t introduced yet. But there was a mod that had openable doors (became unsupported mod after openable doors were officially implemented into BeamNG). Openable doors were officially implemented into BeamNG on April 4, 2023 (update 0.28). This explains that the Coronet doesn’t have openable doors or latches.
