And some confirmation as to what type of vehicle it actually is and what country it originates from would be nice too. That way, the speculation of whether or not it's a CUV, a hatchback, or an SUV, and if it's from an already established country in game or a new one, can be put to rest.
No, it's a sign that Diamondback had to do a lot of research and coding to get to this point. Making systems that do X when Y happens sounds easy but (you guessed it), it's not. Even if we disregard the coding behind it. Launch control can be done by locking the diff in the launch control driving mode. But a diff that reacts when the other side spins x-amount faster is a bit more complicated. So I would say that this is very exciting.
It means that the implementation of proper drive modes and electronic drivetrain control is a huge step forward for this game in terms of realism, and that is, indeed, exciting.
What is the 200bx doing at the beginning of the first video on the right ? Some forgotten traffic car or a little hided hint ?
About the latest awd progress found here: https://beamng.com/threads/development-media.24313/page-4#post-1108274 I really enjoy seeing this. The reactive awd reminds me of my old real life R33 GTR when i launched it hard; could feel the rear wheels start to spin and after like .5 sec the front wheels started, the thrill those .5 sec gave.. still gives me goose bumps thinking of it lol
Exactly, I would love some new information about this new vehicle. I totally agree with that statement. I think some information about what country this vehicle is from and information about type of vehicle it actually is would be awesome. By the way, I'm curious as to whether or not users on here like the body style of this new vehicle.
I would love to see proper torque-vectoring diffs (as in Acura's SH-AWD or the Focus RS) in the game...
Unfortunately I agree with @AlpinaFlyer, all that teaser stuff about AWD is kinda boring. Where's the actual good stuff instead?
What do you all mean by "boring"? Anyone remember how bad AWD ETK K-series used to be, before the update? For me this is another good news for more various and better modern cars in BeamNG.
"Yeah all of this amazing work you're doing isn't interesting to me and you need to do better." Why do I still use this forum jfc.
I don't want to start a flamewar but why do you prefer wheels over active differentials (and driving modes) which is a new feature of the game, probably never seen before and gives others the opportunity to create a lot of unique mods with this feature? Instead of wheels that take maybe a day to develop if one doesn't need to do research on tires?
