So, you're saying that a classic civetta supercar would have more modding potential compared to a 1920 to 1940/pre-war car?
I was going to put a rant about how poorly that poll was administered and how any of my professors would have a fit about a "yes/no" straw poll, but I'm at work and in a lazy mood since there's a very nice snow storm outside. So instead I'll just put a reminder that the general player base does not care about car culture or even simulation. Look at the most viewed youtube videos. If the general player base had their way, we would be playing GTA online with soft body physics, and that's it.
Maybe not for customization, but a single vintage Civetta could allow for a lot of vintage racing content, which would I would be very happy with.
i just wanted to Get some valid priorities instead of people mindlessly saying ''hey we want this new car now do it'' instead of perposing continuations of ''scrapped projects'' that already have concepts of the devs themselves.
having played with a 1902 renault on fs19, they are actually very fun. they're like atv's on bicycle wheels with a top speed of like 40 at best, so very fun
>:[ aight, time to set this crap upright again: Teaser car looks like a car, very interesting. no one has never seen that before. Awd and diffs get reworked for extra slippy drifs. Small maps will get a rework, but no further information has been on them. Prewar car bad, Civetta fulmine good. Maps will get a night light update for towns and cities in the future.
That seems like the next general course of action because one map already has a night-light system (I think?) I don't think the next car (After the teaser car ofc) will be the "Fulmine" that you guys keep referring to, considering it was on the now inaccurate and deprecated Concept List that devs didn't want released anyways. Tbh we have no idea what it'll be.
People are trying to restart the old Vs. modern car debate, far as I can tell. Personally I don't think anyone is against pre-war cars, but there are gaps in the current vehicle selection that I would consider higher-priority, especially if we get a WIP career mode this year. However, people keep shouting at each other to not make it political, which doesn't help things. I am actually really excited for this to happen. We know it probably will, the outdoor lights on Utah are likely a test, and I really like night driving in video games (almost as much as I hate it IRL). It's very calming when there aren't any other vehicles around.
Which is frickin' stupid because what I said in the first place is that I didn't want EVs in the game being used to push a political message. The only time I said anything about climate change directly was when someone asked me why I said that. I'd bet good money that if I'd expressed the "correct" opinions about it, no one would have reported my post.

I have a few questions about the new car. 1:Will there be a 3 door version? You don't have to make a 3 door version. Just curious. 2: What's the name of it going to be? 3: Is there a two tone skin for this planned?
1. Maybe, considering the Bluebuck paved the way for multiple vanilla body styles. 2. No clue. 3. Maybe a plastic/black roof, idk about two-tone.
Sounds like an excuse to me. Why not report the question as well as my answer then? The Bluebuck is a body-on-frame car, and as far as I can tell all its body styles have the same roofline. Different bodystyles for a modern unibody may be a little bit more intensive. Modders have proven it's possible but it doesn't seem to be what the devs feel like focusing on right now. Of course, I'd be happy to be proven wrong, but still.
