Plastic for motorsport vehicles? Hmmm If I remember correctly, right now only Pigeon have plastic windows.
I guess it's a part of future proofing. Not sure of the materials used in irl motorsport but plastic windows on certain currently in-game race/rally spec cars may not be out of the question
Go home, Moon. You're drunk. Now to be serious. If this means we'll be getting a more realistic day/night cycle that doesn't involve the Moon staying in one place at all times, then I'm pleased. Also, I don't notice anything different about the map itself. I could be wrong though.
Honestly, I think that BeamNG.Drive should have the option of grey skies, rain, and snow in the environment menu whether it's day or night. I feel it would make the game more realistic, but that's purely my opinion though.
I tried to recreate the picture , yes there are defenetli fever cubes . I set my graphics to "normal" setting and the the small cubes disaperad too . So it's more likely the dev used "normal" graphics option.
I seriously hope that the Automation Test Track map will finally get proper day/night cycle support in the upcoming update.
I believe they're only updating the skyboxes in all the maps as they did in Utah. Definitely nice to see.
Uh, no offense Nathan24TM, but I'm pretty sure that Automation Test Track already has a proper day/night light system. I think it got added in the 0.18 update. Here's proof of this. Daytime: Sunset/Twilight: Nighttime: Go to the environment menu and there should be a thing where you can make the maps day or night. I hope this helps you out =)
Well, I should've said that it works in freeroam and that I'm not sure if it works in any other mode.
Exactly. You're saying that people should completely change the units they use in daily life, because of problems which occur well above their level. I have no problem with you or anyone doing their calculations in metric when accurate math and science require it. What I have a problem with is people who tell me I should be measuring my commute to work in kilometers when there is no need to do so. I never said any of this was a wise use of money either. The fact is, we are currently blowing money on a wide variety of unwise uses. Why is that an excuse to add one more? We need to cut every cent we can, not go off changing a hundred million signs because reasons. I hope the time and scale controls in the Environment tab get units in the process.
