In terms of size, proportions and overall shape, the Miramar is much closer to the 124 than to the Skyline... His suggestion is not very plausible, but just from a historical/contextual point of view.
That looks absolutely nothing like the Miramar. I believe this conversation has already been had, however, so let’s not devolve this thread into another “Beamng cars in real life” thread once more.
I would love a car like that in the game =) I know we have the Miramar, but the Miramar doesn't look like the picture of the car I quoted. I totally agree with that statement. Alright then, I will ask a question. What do you think of these new map remasters?
Love ‘em. My only complaint is that these remastered maps seem to more severely impact performance than they used to—which is to be expected, seeing as there’s so much more content being added. Luckily, I’m currently building a new PC, so this won’t be a problem for me for much longer.
oh, Bigfoot 1 is only on 48" tires for most of it's current life but it can have the 66"s on it still, if it's either 48"s or 66"s, it doesn't matter as long as it can crush a car
I wonder, are the devs of beamng planning real time painting in vehicle selection menu?(like in garage) Would be really cool What do you guys think?
I was just looking through the dev blog when I noticed something. Major updates (0.11-0.15), for a while, had art to go along side them. When West Cost was released we got one, when the DT40L was released we got one, all up until 0.15 with Italy. Then in 0.16, we didn't get any. Excusable, because I wouldn't call 0.16 'major', although there was interesting stuff added. In 0.17, with the Bluebuck, we still didn't get concept art. Whats up with that?
So police AI improvements are likely coming eventually, any speculation on what sort of things could trigger a pursuit? and if we could get tickets for minor law breaking or arrests for not pulling over in career mode etc? We already can trigger police with collisions into traffic or a cop car, has anything else been mentioned?
Somehow I doubt they'll go that far into detail to the point where not signaling before turning triggers a pursuit—my guess it that it'll just get better at following the rules of the road while chasing you (i.e. less GTA-like).
Nah none of that, I was thinking more speeding/ reckless driving/ maybe red lights? Though I'd expect that the pursuits might get harder over time by having the more law-abiding AI and it gradually gets more reckless in trying to stop you? road blocks would be pretty cool too
It would be cool, but it'd be a huge strain on performance to spawn two to four barriers or police vehicles that just sit there until you crash into them. Plus, keep in mind this game is based on realism—unlike some other games like Need For Speed, crashing directly into a roadblock is likely to completely immobilize you, which isn't very fun from a gameplay standpoint.
As far as I am aware, not signalling before turning is legal, it just isn't good driving. Maybe they'll differentiate where you are and aren't allowed to pass other cars?
Not sure where you're from, but I am pretty sure indicating is required in most (if not every) country.
