I'm thinking more of the C/K. Now we have the option of split and non split. IIRC the non split ones are cheaper and used on the more utility trims but were also an option on higher trims.
That 3-row-seater Roamer (Roamer LXT) looks really sweet! The Blazer/Bronco look-a-like (D10 Charro) looks cool as well, especially wih the rear spare tire holder! I'm also gonna hope that the D-series gets the lowrider treatment like the Grand Marshal did: Also, any updates on the articulated Wentward DT40L? I haven't heard a word about it in a while, and I would really like to know if it is still in the plans.
If this is a pre-facelift front end for the D-Series, I'm gonna be so happy. But it's probably more like this... ...instead. Which is fine; the D-Series is still getting new front panels, something that I've always wanted for it. Also, did anyone notice that the Park Ranger Charro has barn doors like the H-Series/Roamer XLT? That's a real nice addition to the parts selection. EDIT: Nevermind, it's this instead.
Could even be for a Pre facelift model, as the Indicators are below the Headlights. For example on the early Fourth gen Chevrolet C/K. Oh wait you guys already mentioned this, damn. thought I was gonna share my Autistic automotive wisdom on y'all.
it doesn't have barn doors, it has a sliding window like the early full-size broncos and all K5 blazers angle is wrong and shading is wrong to be barn doors
so we are getting both an Expedition AND a Bronco? it would be REALLY funny if you guys dropped the update when the new 2021 Bronco gets revealed.
Wouldn't mind having a Cadillac Escalade from NFS: Underground 2 with all the customisation options...
BeamNG.pimpmobile, maybe? And it would be cool to stretch the game beyond reality (as the devs have done multiple times), and get the LWB Roamer in that luxury version, as well as an Avalanche/Escalade EXT-style pickup.
How so? A luxury Roamer would be equivalent to a gen 1 Navigator, and a pickup version equivalent to a Lincoln Blackwood. The Roamer is only a couple of years too early for it, which is still reasonable.
Not sure if that guy knows what 'realistic' is. That, and the fact that there have been way too many arguments on what is realistic and what isn't. Unless there is actual evidence and you've researched years 'x through to 'y, you have no basis for your argument. If you want something that isn't 'realistic' just take a look at literally any of the default 'race' or 'rally' configurations. A luxury Roamer is perfectly realistic, provided they add a gaudy, overly stylised, fiberglass bodykit and 24inch chrome rims to go with it. Something right outta the DUB catalogue, it's about as realistic as you can get for 90's SUV culture, and something we are dearly missing from BeamNG.
As manfred said, the Roamer is only a couple years too early to get a luxury version. Even then, the Roamer isn’t a suburban, it’s a Roamer. As for the pickup, I’d be happy with more content and a slightly more modern pickup truck. I don’t think it’s unrealistic as there are those Cadillac Escalade pickup trucks. Yeah, the Roamer isn’t an Escalade, but if they pulled it off the Roamer can too.
