nade just posted this on community screens. what I find interesting is the surroundings of the map, it appears to be autumn. the demo derby arenas have a similar colour palette, so judging by the shape of this road (and the fact the car is airborne) I wouldn't be surprised if this is one of the corners on a track in industrial, which has been reshaped a bit.
It seems more likely that is one of the polish maps in autumn. Not everything Nadeox posts is dev content. Edit: Yep its just the newly updated polish mountains map. here with added camera roll
Everyone is talking about how the trim, mirrors, and doors are not changed. Keep in mind that what is shown is a WIP, and could change in the future.
I know you are not a dev, but looking at this comment I can expect 3 things. 1. Those parts will remain as they are (unlikely) 2. Devs aren't showing us everything they are changing / adding 3. We will need to wait longer than expected for the update
Keep in mind the current D-series is a facelift of a older model. On a side note, I think the only thing that needs adjusting/adding is possibly steel mirrors as 88-94 Chevy trucks had them. A older styled Instrument binnacle and if these are already not in the pipeline. mudflaps. As for the Roamer, Hopefully we get a 2 Door "sport" model like on the 1st and 2nd gen explorers
https://www.instagram.com/p/B99h143FDu0/?igshid=1wfzmvws343zt We’ve got a new Instagram post. Judging by the “nearest future” I’d say we’re getting it in the next few weeks, possibly next Friday.
https://www.instagram.com/p/B99h143FDu0/ New instagram post of the D-Series remaster. According to this post, the update will be in the "Nearest Future", and to expect "Expect a new car, new parts, performance improvements, and more " Performance improvements are nice, but we haven't seen anything on the level front, which is worrying.
The entirety of the Moonhawk is far too rounded for its era. Particularly the rear and fender flares. It’s my personal opinion that the tweak in 0.16 was a step in the wrong direction. Keep in mind that the Roamer and Explorer are different size classes. A 2-door Roamer would be the exact same size as the D10, and much larger than an Explorer Sport.
I don't know but level are getting remastered seeing the fact that small island is looking like to get revamped
I'm hoping that there are more remasters than just Small Island. Port and Industrial Site really need remasters too, and a JRI remaster would be amazing. All of these maps are really underdeveloped, and thus they have a ton of potential for improvement. I will say though, Small Island is well, small, and that being the only remaster would be a little disappointing.
I’m aware. The Tahoe comes to mind as well. I’m not saying a Roamer version of the D10 would be a bad idea, just that the Explorer Sport is completely different from the D10, Tahoe, Ramcharger, Bronco, and this hypothetical short-body Roamer.
Im really excited to see the new D-series stuff Big thanks to the devs who keeps updating the game. In the future i would love to see something like this. Would fit the new pre facelift model perfect! The chevy square body front end, and some meaty tires with white lettering.
The new fascia reminds me of a truck from far cry 5 It has the fascia from a bullnose ford and the body from a squarebody chevy.
I think the pre facelift for the D series is a good idea, but not well thought out. For starters the pre facelift looks like a completely different generation from the current generation D series we have currently. For example This is the third generation Silverado/Chevy C/K manufactured from the early 70s to late 80s (1973-1987). As you can tell this gen Silverado looks like the pre facelift D series we're getting. Now here's a picture of the fourth generation Silverado made from 1988-2002 (replaced around 2000 with the fifth gen). As you can see, The current D series in game is based off of this generation, so how can the one the devs made be a pre facelift when you can clearly see both vehicles are based from different gen Silverados.
