What if it takes a week or so to get an update out of the door, and the devs are just screwing with us by dripfeeding us content?

Not very likely. Nadeox said last friday that the final touches will take 'a few weeks' so they're definitely still working hard on it.

 

I can't speak for everyone but my post was purely out of making a joke, not trying to belittle you.

With all the work being done to the D-series, I wonder if the tow truck config that has been talked about for years now will finally be added. It could have been scrapped, but if it wasn't, this update is probably the most likely one to include it.

 

I'm not sure but didn't a dev said that the tow truck will only get into the game when they are having correct rope physics? I don't think that they have done something in this direction but who knows. Maybe its a big surprise but I don't think so.

 

That does sound familiar, and that would make sense.
