Update Speculation thread

I wish they made it a more autumn-like setting, kind of like the original Small Island:

 

Based on that, could we expect a complete cherry trailer on either Sunday or maybe Monday?

 

Maybe even later today, if you want to be a little optimistic - thanks to the coronavirus, every day's a weekend

 

The map looks great, as always for their remasters.
-I like the migratory bird study setting, it makes sense for the map.
-It's kinda weird not seeing any background land masses, but it's not a big deal.
-It kinda reminds me of Plum Island. Small island with an animal research facility. Maybe we will see a Montauk Monster easter-egg Okay so that would be really silly, but an ominously named building would be nice to see... Maybe "Building 404"

 

Wait until YouTubers call the new car the "Vive-ace" - like it's a virtual reality Hiace or some shit

 

there will be youtubers who will be stupid and say it wrong without a care in the world and not caring to even learn what the pronunciation is, and there will be smart youtubers who know the proper pronunciation, but call it incorrectly and acknowledge that they will say it incorrectly because the proper pronunciation is too difficult for them.

 

speaking of which:

 

We know there's going to be some caves, that's already exciting. I love what they did with the mineshafts in Utah.

As AlpinaFlyer has pointed out, we already have a nickname for it: "Cherry Vice"

 

Or we could just simply call it "The Cherry"

 

I feel like there will be more remasters than just Small Island. 0.17 brought remasters of East Coast, Hirochi Raceway, and Derby Arenas. 0.19 seems to have received roughly the same amount of development time, but all we've seen is Small Island, which is roughly 1/4 the size of East Coast. The remake also seems to only have a few new buildings compared to previous remasters. It just doesn't add up, which makes me think we might see additional trailers for other levels in the near future.

 

mabye not a remaster but there could be some (much needed) optimization improvements at west coas usa

 

Has the community established any lore as to where the Vivace is actually built? I suspect that at least the lower end models are made in China, while some higher-end ones may be built in France or Germany.

 

what ever happened to the wiki update?

 

I really hope we see what's going on with Jungle Rock Island and Industrial Site/Port soon. I think trailers for their remasters would be extremely cool.

 

That's what I hope to see too.

 

Throwing this out there, hopefully windshield and bumper reflections get fixed.

Could be referring to the big warning on the wiki page not to spend more time on it because it'll be replaced.

 

Cannot wait for a resource to learn how to nod properly. jk.

Looking from the teasers and photos, this update will surely be an interesting one. Cannot wait!
