Industrial site is getting a rework:

 

They announced they were remastering it and Port a long time ago.

 

it was very obivous that they will update Industrial and port, They already released teasers quite some time ago.

 

it been only 3 days since 0.19 came out and we are talking about the next major update

Don't think it would be 1.0 as there are many things still missing(i.e tire thermals, career mode, perfected ai etc) so,probably 0.20

One thing I‘m wondering about is what those reworks will look like, since the, let‘s call it “Stage 1-Rework“ of SI, USA looked completely different from the final one…
A really good surprise would be a reworked Dry Rock Island. I know, technically we already have that with JRI, but, let’s be honest here. A completely Up-To-Date Dry Rock Island in the same setting would be sweet, since it’s the map most of us started with.

 

Yeah 0.20 seems likey also 0.20 would first verison in 0.2x range

Does anyone else think that the Burnside and Miramar is ripe for a remaster? I do.

 

Everything pre-Wentward is to some extent. (I still say the Wentward should be retcon'd to be Canadian since this is their only shot at getting representation). A lot of vehicles have sub-par textures in interiors and engine bays compared to the new cars. And don't even get me started on the disparity in content for the various platforms.

 

A thousand times this. DRI was one of the best maps in the game, and I'm still pissed that they removed it.

Odd that they aren't going to fix a no texture bug at all, instead saying there is going to be a rework. It might indicate that the remake may be released soon, because if there wasn't going to be a remake for months they'd probably fix it.
