At least if they go 1958 the devs could use the same chassis as the Bluebuck. might make development slightly easier and less time consuming. same as why I mentioned doing an 80's Grand Marshall. It would give more to the lore as they can showcase the fall of Burnside (the 80's Burnside will just be a trim level of the GM with a Landau top and wire wheel covers).
Updated my tiny spreadsheet (I added older updates dates but I didn't count them in the average because it wasn't really relevant)
not to mention a 2000s h-series, which wouldn't even need a new body shell, literally just a nose. also, (getting a tad off-topic) but I wonder what the chances are of getting burnside versions of the roamer/marshal? an olds bravada/navigator/escalade type thing on the roamer would be hilarious, and a long wheelbase GM (same sort of rear door structure to the roamer LXT) would fit well with a lincoln town car sort of trim, maybe even a vanilla limo. on the topic of remasters, what extra parts/configs are you guys expecting with the basically confirmed bolide remaster? of course, we can suspect there will be a rally config, but I wouldn't be surprised if it gets either a pre facelift, something like the ferrari 308 and lambo silhouette, or a post facelift, more like the facelifted testarossa, or at very least some USDM cast iron pool noodle bumpers. I also hope that the 320 gets some proper wheels (steelies+italian exotic=no sense), and maybe even a more significant displacement drop, to maybe 2L, both making it a more noticeable change, and also being more accurate to IRL regulations (even if the devs don't seem to strictly follow them). I've been also considering the possibility of an f40-ish or group 5 style racing config, with clamshells, turbos, stripped interiors, etc.
It just sounds like something made for RoR/early Beam era. "Soliad" "Charmand" "Jargl" all sound like names that would've been in RoR opposed to the current game. I'm sure someone's going to say "It's just because we don't have one, you're fine with the other names from that era"... There's plenty of names from that era that I like. Not to start another concept list fight, but that's the only place other than the Wendover with nameplates from that era that we didn't get... "Gavril Blackstone" is a great name IMO. I don't know what it is, but I want it and hope the nameplate gets recycled. "Gavril Bussard" is not a nice name and I don't want to see it. Just imagine if we got the "Charmand Vivace". Some of those old names, Soliad included, just don't feel right in the current game for me.
yes and this is a pain as the game is nearly unusable for me.. I'd play beamng on one monitor, change music in the other monitor, and now as soon as i click anything not beamng, all the windows rearrange.. very annoying.. The window bug might be the reason the hotfix is taking so long
Honestly, before adding some non existant vehicle, I would like that devs finally finish the Wendover, which is laying around for 7 years. Since it won't be sedan, but a coupe, like Oldsmobile Toronado or Buick Riviera gens from 80s, it would be nice if it gets restyled. For a vehicle after it, I think some from a country that hasn't been covered yet would be neat. For example, Swedish or British. Swedish could be boxy wagon from 80s, mid 2000s SUV or early 80s fastback (like Saab 900), and British could be roadster from mid 70s, modern luxury grand tourer or a 60s luxury sedan (I imagine Jaguar Mark 2 like car).
Well, it is true. Good example is Fiat 126 and Fiat 126 Bis. First one is "saloon". However Bis model have engine in front so it have now hatch doors at the back so that why Bis is an "hatchback".
With the addition of the LWB H-series frame, I'm quite frankly VERY surprised we didn't get a van like this. Seems like a huge missed oppourtunity to me. It would would tie in nicely not only as a sort of research vehicle for the migratory bird center on Small Island, but also a tour bus for the national park in Utah.
