Okay you know what car really needs an update? LeGran Just look at the interior. Model has gaps, texture is really poor quality (hell, it doesn't even look like it has normals in some places!), shading errors and just looks super rushed. These photos were taken in safe mode with all mods removed and cleared cache. On top of that the LeGran has really no aftermarket parts (same with late 90s Pessima) and should have improved deformation for the front end. This car really does need the most attention in terms of revising compared to the others and I hope it gets it soon. Also remember that the Wiki is being overhauled soon so the info in it might no longer be current.
Meanwhile Bolide, Pigeon and Burnside Special: Also Pigeon is too long to be a kei-car and have american red turn signals. Bolide doesn't have those ugly things on bumpers, but Imperial gauges tell that its USDM model.
The thing is the LeGran is a little bit more recent compared to those and has such a low quality meshes and textures, I remembered people complaining about it when it first came out in 2016 and nowadays seems forgotten. I brought up the bolide’s need of a refresh a while back and making subtle fixes for the market the <specified car> is sold in can be done rather easily.
How 'bout the Moonhawk? The thing is almost as old as the game and has probably one of the worst engine meshes in the game. It really needs a revamp. Yes, yes it ain't that bad when compared to some of the other cars (*cough* maybe Legran *cough*) and it had some new configs and parts over the years but just look at the poor thing. It doesn't have a lot of custom/ aftermarket parts too and it's overall just bland. Just compare the Bluebuck to this thing (Yes, the Bubu again coz it has a lot of configs).
Yes, but we still have only 5 EUDM cars. Even in drivers training campaign we need to use USDM cars but campaign takes place in Europe
I hope with the future UI update we would end up with the ability to select manual and Auto as well as Domestic market options without having to clutter up the UI with doubled up variants. Talking about Variants, The Miramar could do with more variants and a LHD dashboard plus lower spec Gauges (low spec cars IRL didn't have Tachometers back then). Don't get me started on a front Bench seat.
I'm going to keep saying this but... -Strip speedo for base and luxury configs -Options for padded, woodgrain and turned metal dashboard you get right ? -Sedan with optional hardtop and pillared rooflines -Vinyl roof its a sevenies thing -Optional opera window for hardtops to travel in style ! -Change default rims to 14-6 ones making use of the cross plie tires of base configs (they look more fitting with a wider track), 15-7 for higher end configs -For above make high and low tier hubcaps instead of just the styler caps gotta differentiate family sedans from the executive type cars -Optionable woodgrain for sports steering wheel looks bland with the basic plastic inserts -Optionable padding instead of woodgrain for standard steering wheel for base and the "somewhat sporty sedans" -Bench seat because that way if you take right handed corner hard enough, you girlfriend will slide right next to you, remember no one used seatbelts back then, take left handers more delicately ! -Bench seat friendly centre console with optionable full length console for bucket seats -Optionable woodgrain for centre consoles no need for explanation -Optionable front quarter vents for base models (I know it might be a bit a long stretch) -Optionable woodgrain for door cards woodgrain everywhere ! -Small and big block V8s -Optionable single or dual exhausts single on base and luxury configs, dual for sporty ones -Removable emission controls comes on all facelift configs -An automatic transmission that when in drive only uses second and third gear you must manually select the first gear -luxury chrome trim used on the sills and elsewhere -Colourable interior like the way the Bluebuck is setup no more beige -Optional drum brakes all 'round used only for base models -A sunroof for luxury models, works with the vinyl roof -Bumper overrides and rubber bumper trims Made out of rubber -Hood ornament need to line up the target before floorin' it -Luxury chrome mirrors for (duh) luxury models -An optional clock in place of the sports dashboard tachometer (the currently only dashboard available) because who needs that silly thing when you can have a clock that goes round and round ! -A disco ball you know what for... ok that's all I can think of, they are things the Moonhawk should have (ok fine barring one or two things) as the car is brimming with potential
ok, you asked for it. going off specific configs: -pre facelift model, with 70's styling, such as chrome bumpers, fender mirror, round headlights, smoker windows,(overall, like the mazda t2000, maybe a bit of 70's reliant thrown in.) On the interior, a bench seat, a painted metal tacho casing (kind of like the piccolina's) oh, and an option for b r o w n vinyl seats! -LWB/heavy duty version, with a larger engine (750cc-1200cc? hopper I4?) heavy duty rear suspension, longer chassis/flatbed tray, (about the size of a mazda t2000) and a dump truck/tanker config? -walk through step van-bodied version, on the normal frame(like those daihatsu mira step-vans) with a food truck/ice cream van config, maybe even a camper conversion. -factory specc'd out light offroad trim, with brush bars, spotlights, rear roll bar, a modest turbo on the 658 engine, diff lock, 80's side graphics. (think subaru brumby, or fiat panda 4x4) maybe also a modified version, with a lift kit, mud tires, HF antennas, spare tires/jerrycans in the back, etc. -drag racing version, with 4-link rear suspension, 4 or 5-lug wheel conversion, an adjustable racing front coilover, and a turbo-able 1000cc bike engine (but even a turbo and perf longblocks on the 600 would do). -bosozoku version, with 4-lug wheels, massive flares, massive splitter, sharknose, takeyari exhaust, crazy paintjob, etc. -3-wheel competition rock crawler (@ferrettank , are you taking notes?) -belasco meter maid, with lightbar, skin, etc. (adds a pigeon police config) And for modifying existing parts, in no particular order, -inset the bumpers, so it complies to kei car length -add 550cc I2 engines (use in the 70's version) -conversion to 4-lug wheels, or at least more options for 3-lugs (colours of steel wheels, and selectable tires) thanks for coming to my ted talk -also, the moonhawk needs a donk config.
Nah, Pigeon remaster when? I do agree with the Bolide one though. --- Post updated --- On the topic of the (possible) Pigeon remaster speculation, how about a kei truck based off the Pigeon like this?: EDIT: Fixed a spelling error
