That, or be like me and tell people to correct me if I spelled anything wrong. I imagine he's crying in tears of joy. My take: I'm actually really happy and shocked that the devs are still continuing to update the D-series despite that '85 facelift thing they did with it in 0.19. Uh, well. There was the unofficial BeamNG forums and now, there's the official BeamNG Discord server. Leeloo wrote an entire thread about it. Guys, here's a link to the BeamNG Twitter so that way, you guys can comment on stuff. https://twitter.com/beamng?ref_src=twsrc^google|twcamp^serp|twgr^author
Yeah, it sucks that rating got removed. lol, Spoiler: Angry rant about pre-war cars that Srockzz might be able to relate to. Pre-war cars are a massive waste of the time and the devs would be wasting resources building one. We don't need a 1910's car for BeamNG and there is no gameplay situation where a car from that decade would make any sense whatsoever. So in conclusion, stop suggesting pre-war cars. The devs can't make one. DISCLAIMER: The rant above was for entertainment purposes only, not to share my opinion or anything like that.
You know what also sucks? Making offtopic and spamming "informative/cool/whateva" because they add this at some point...
I would like to respectfully disagree. Where I live, I frequently see pre-war vehicles and have heard from one of their owners that they are far more fun to drive than more modern cars, as they can be enjoyed to the full at low speeds, which would likely translate into the game, as grip is reduced, increasing the effort the driver has to make. Furthermore, I believe that there are far more gameplay opportunities with hotrodding, allowing top speed boneville type stuff, drag racing and circuit racing and cruising/roleplay for those who like that sort of thing, than with a modern supercar, which is slower than a racecar like the hillclimb cars or the track K-Series, on the track but cannot be driven at full speed on road without relatively frequent accidents, especially for newer players. I will admit that older cars are not everyones' cup of tea, but I personally would like to see something pre-war rather than a modern sports/supercar.
Is there any possible info to speculate on whether we will get a full on day/night cycle, or instead move into pre-baked shadows and time of days like let's say, Forza motorsport would do? That would be less gpu intensive and might result in even better lighting, but then yeah, no day/night cycle. Curious to see if time will affect the game in career mode.
I think you can already change the time in BeamNG, so I'm not sure we will get a full on day and night cycle. However, I think having the option for snow and rain in all BeamNG maps would be awesome.
