True, however it's not in real units yet and the rough math I did in my head at one point tells me that you probably can't, at this point, slow it down enough to make a full day take 24 hours.

 

I know right, I think being able to make it 24 hours on a BeamNG map would be awesome.

 

Covet remaster for Xmas 2020 or is this wishful thinking?

I don't think there's a way to do it in the menus, but time of day objects have a variable for the length of a day in seconds iirc. Just set that to 86,400 and it should create a 24 hour day/night cycle.

 

Some of the clocks in the cars work, so we know the game knows what time it is. It's be cool if the TOD in game was tied to IRL time. It would add a feeling of variety to the maps.

Similarly, I wonder if working clocks will be added to every car.

 

Yes, the game know the time,cuz there is UI app already.

 

I think the ones in the Vivace and perhaps the modern ETKs work. It would be cool to see them in the others, though!

Also, why hasn’t the K-Series received the 800’s cluster? I’m sure there’s a good reason, but I don’t remember what it was.

I'd be more interested in a way to sync the car clock to the ingame map time.

 

Oh yes, I would love a little bit of Animal Crossing to be mixed into BeamNG! (No /s that would be legitimately sweet to have the in game time match what time it is in real life.)
Something about waiting until 9:00 P.M. in real life to do some illegal street racing, or waiting until Sunday morning for an amateur racing cup in a car game sounds appealing to me haha.

Of course this should never be a mandatory feature since some events in the game would be locked behind certain times of day when players might not be able to enjoy the game due to events in real life, but I think it would be neat regardless to have the option for the sake of immersion.

I wonder if the other race/rally cars are getting some new revamped liveries like the Pessima. Also, does the livery look a bit too modern to be on the Pessima?
