Update Speculation thread

10 months?

 

Interior isn't modeled at all, so I would think it's not coming for now.

 

Well when gabester said it wasn't modeled yet (unless he said so more recently) it was November 3rd, and in the dev teams AMA they said it takes about 2 months to make a vehicle... so going off that I'd say it's pretty safe to say there's a good chance it will be in the next update, or very shortly after.

 

Well.... from first release ever to first major update, that's a long way, and BNG dev group had less than 10 people at that time

I've been very hopeful for the Hopper, and I do believe that it will come out for the next update. Whether or not you all believe that... I have no idea. But I'll just say this, I am hopeful and passionate for the Hopper and I just hope that we get it very soon.

Yup, only tomorrow can you be certain if the update came or not. Keep in mind that beamng headquarters is in Germany and their timezone is gmt+1.

 

That's 2 months of total time spent on the car, not two months of callendar time.

 

IDKW, but I feel like releasing it today would be cutting it kind of close, and there would probably be a high likelihood for a lot of glitches.

I'm hoping that the next update will at least happen at some point between now and Christmas or the New Year, but releasing it today for me seemed impossible.

 

The development thread has been awfully quiet recently, and the last time that happened, the update came out a week later. At most, I'd suspect next Friday.

 

I've predicted the 16th earlier, so I'm not surprised unless something happens overnight.

A GTA update on the 13th and a BeamNG update 3 days later would be AWESOME. gives me the time to do everything in GTA

 

I think today or next week.
