I was under the impression that the overpass had just been built, and the street that used to be in its place had yet to be demolished (likely due to the building under construction next to it).
They also said that they would add more active parts, like torque vectoring, active swaybars, active springs, active steering, active diffs, active awd and more in the devblog
I'm sorry I don't know if this is the right thread but, does anyone else remember the second big, T-series type truck that was supposed to come? Kinda like a modern one, almost like the etk rig mod
No such truck has been talked about via the devs. Now there has been request for years (and by me) for a Modern spec EU truck and or a Modern spec US truck but nothing from official sources. The T series as it stands is almost a Modern US spec truck regarding the exterior due to the Kentworth W900 W990 and Peterbilt 389 still in production and it just needs a interior refit to meet modern US regulations (with some engine parts I guess). TLDR No but it's highly requested and almost already possible with the T-series.
Oh. I didn't think so, but idk this games changed a lot. I did hear the soliad wendover Is gonna have some sort of voice alert like on the 83 Lebaron. Someone asked the devs about it and they said maybe a while ago ...
Another thing i hope gets fixed/expanded upon/cleaned up/changed in general is the areas like this that could have better ways of ending the roads rather than every road being under construction Back in January when I was making that expanded WCUSA concept i drew an idea for what the roads could look like here
Wasn’t that one one some kind of Billboard? On the H-Series I believe. IIRC it would have been a late 90s short haul truck
İf i recall correctly, that was on Ar162B's mod and that was supposed to be his upcoming mod. Coorect me if i'm wrong.
Man, those spots need some love, would be really cool if the house part near the seaside would have a round-about.
yes!!! it was a planned mod, not vanilla. sorry for wasting everyone's time --- Post updated --- dude is that a mod?
The T series (subscribe to a dead meme) is closer in design to the International 9300 which I think lasted into the late '90s so yeah it definitely could do with a mid-cycle refresh. You would find a lot of real-life trucks keep the basic design the same for decades. The International ACCO in Australia, for example, is still being made today while using a similar cab design dating back to the 1970s.
Whoa! Missed a lot again! (I'm too busy enjoying the game itself to be on the community regularly lol) So, obviously, we know or pretty much conclude, that we will continue to get more parts and upgrades to the D-Series, H-Series, and Roamer platform. The D-Series is looking to get a Crawler variant along with a refurbished straight-6 engine, the Roamer could see a few tweaks, and the H-Series will either complete or get close to finishing its remaster, with potentially new variants and upgrades. Also, it looks like a map is also being remastered, with both the Port or Industrial Site being - if not potential, then actual - candidates. Along with other overall improvements to game quality and runtime, Update 0.20 is looking good! (I think I got everything, yeah?) Gonna have to agree with some of you guys on some of these other things too, like the Soliad Wendover and its release, a Civetta Bolide remaster (which is probably next), a T-Series remaster, and a Jungle Rock Island remaster. These are probably in the works, so I'm sure we'll get them soon.
I wonder what comes in the T-series remaster, it does need one, but not as much as some others cough Legran/Bolide cough. Would be nice if it could get more engine options and a fair share of cabs, maybe even "remaster" the trailers aswell.
TBH the T-series regarding it's exterior is fine as it is (more parts are always nice though). It's the interior that needs work.
I've been thinking (and I could have sworn that I'd already suggested) that the T-series recieve a de-facelift to better match its supposed era. Not much to it really - just swap out the lights on top of the cab for rounded ones: Create a new hood with round turn signals and a cutout for an external air intake: And most importantly, create a new headlight style with round lights (or light, as the case may be). For this, I quickly photoshopped by shrinking a 1975 Mack-R-series headlight assembly with the corrugated panel behind the light and rotating it 90 degress before inserting it: That would be everything we need for a true 1975 T-series. The existing version could be used to cover, say, 1983-1994.
A face lift would be possible too. the closest real life equivalent to the T series which is the International 9000 series was made through the 2000's so a more aerodynamic front end would be possible. Really the T series could end up being the most customizable BeamNG vehicle if they wanted to. up there with the D Series and H series. Don't get me started on the possibility of a COE on the T series chassis.
