All I want regarding the variants is just this https://www.beamng.com/attachments/upload_2020-8-6_14-49-59-png.704507/ I do think one day well get this but idk.
here it is, the supposed WIP d series facelift that may or may not have been accidentally included in the released d series dae file like @ClassicMike said, it is completely unfinished so don't judge it last pictures of it in full before i get rid of it devs pls don't kill me im sorry
it's not too bad but i do feel like it'll need a bit more work to be believable that this truck has gone on from the 80s right into the late 00s
I certainly think we need more accessories intended for each era, but overall it isn't unheard of for a commercial vehicle platform to last that long.
there are alot of new slots on cars, for new parts. like on the d-series there is bed liner, and on the etk 800 there is a spoiler and lip.
slipped in just like the D series facelift? Quite excited for the minor updates We'll have: D series facelift and prerunner WCUSA improvements Driving Dynamics phase 2 (maybe) H series stuff more stuff probably edit: brakes screeching is really nice! sad to see them go, I guess they will come back at some point.
Yea, no worries, it was a last minute decision to not ship them, that's why something was missed and did ship in the end.
Figured I'd just post my thoughts on the update now that I've played with it a bit... Yes, this is not really speculation, but this thread does function as the general discussion thread and I don't want to get in the way of the bug reports on the 0.20 discussion thread. Spoiler: Roamer Update I like the face lift itself; I think it's perfect for an early 2000's SUV. I especially love the facelift cowl hood. However, I feel like it's just too upscale for Gavril with that big chrome grille and softer lines. Personally I would've put it under a luxury marque and skipped the lower spec trims. Luxury trucks in the early 2000's had an interesting culture that would be great to see in game; it would be nice to see more (sometimes regrettable) car culture niches get representation. The difference is more or less only in name, so whatever I guess... I also love the Belasco PD config. I am worried we may never see an official late 1990's Charro/2 door Roamer now that work on the Roamer has wrapped up for the time, as per the devblog. I know up until a few months ago I didn't see a point in it, but the idea's grown on me a lot. Only time will tell I guess, but I think it's safe to say there won't be one in the near future. Spoiler: Industrial I really love the feel of the map now. It use to be one I rarely used, but there's a lot to like here. The banked turn is a feature long overdue in an official map (yes there is one on Automation, but it's tiny), and the container playground is a lot of fun. Me being me, I really wish there was a cargo ship and/or train tracks to complete the atmosphere. My only real issue with it is that the trees and some of the assets in the container area tend to eat cars... Some collisions there definitely need to be looked at. I gotta say, this container area really makes me wish the crawlers had AWS and a dig transmission. Spoiler: Everything Else Of course the Gavril frame and i6 updates are well appreciated. I am very happy to see the Barstow get the Bluebuck's engines now. Having the new carb options is great, though the Moonhawk's and '53 Special's stand out just that much more now. The square wheel options are greatly appreciated. I love seeing those little physics toys like that, and it's a simple way to have fun in Beam and take advantage of the features that make the game special. Now that we have the 40' conex my mind is going to all sorts of BeamNG.Conex ideas... Different conex sizes and trailers for them (a good use for a hypothetical fifth wheel D/H-Series) and so on. Then there's the weird stuff that snuck it's way into the parts selector. Some D-Series beds have an empty bedliner slot, the 800-Series bumpers have an empty slot for a lip The water physics make me want some paddle tires for the Hopper
Does the Gavril I6 now how performance parts? I didn’t see it in the changelog, so I guess it’s a bit of a silly question. Hotfix conversion van, perhaps?
