can confirm that this is for the wendover ^from the 2nd video, when Mitch is creating a new image for the UV map "wend" > wendover "mats" > materials it could also be a revamp of the Legran engine because there are some legran textures that are opened in his shader editor
In the first video I noticed that the supercharger is similar to the Eaton M90 found on supercharged 3800s. I also noticed in the background was an exhaust manifold for a V6 and a FWD transaxle. Both the transaxle and manifold are very similar to the ones found in my car, a 1999 Buick Regal with the N/A 3800. I suspect that all of this stuff will be for the Wendover and a LeGran remaster. Spoiler: Picture comparisons The front exhaust manifold routes over the top of the transaxle on the Regal, appears to be the same for the 3D model. Even what I assume is the tube from the airbox to throttle body appears to be inspired by a real life 3800: With all of that said, why is there a longitudinal transmission? I expect the Wendover to be FWD because of the proportions and drivetrain sharing, so maybe it will have a racing variant with a tube chassis?
I'm excited to see the new D45 rollback, and the prerunner appears to be mostly in-game and functional, but what's really interesting to me in this photo is the new hubcaps available for the heavy-duty 8-lug wheels. That means that someone on the team has had to take a close look at them recently. Could it be that we're finally going to get the ability to mount single heavy-duty 8-lug wheels to the rear as well as the front? Of course, that would require a version of the front heavy-duty spindle to be migrated to the rear axle. They're not quite identical:
Using the web site SteamDB, I learned that between updates 0.19 and 0.20 there were 148 qa_lates branch updates.Since update 0.20 there have been 99 updates Considering that updates are released every day (sometimes more frequently), update 0.21 will be released for the New Year's Eve. It's just my theory.
looking at just one update is pretty meaningless, but if you got the data for a couple of them and they were at least somewhat similar you could draw some conclusions
Looking at dates across the last 3 years I'd say mid December. Logistically speaking I'd say before Christmas.
There's a mesh called 'test' in the ECUSA folder, you can access through the world editor. It looks like this: There's nothing in the rooms, but maybe they're working on houses with full interior?
Never noticed it. Would be cool if they translated it over to other maps though (which it looks like they do imo).
interesting that the mesh has like a foundation or something on the bottom that can't be seen in the spot it's at
Uh so my uncle work has a janitor at beamng HQ, and he send me some pics of the next car their working on, it's not 100% sure this will be like this but I'm pretty confident
Kind of Off topic. But how is Gabester? He was last seen back in June. I know he had a Hand injury But i hope he is ok. And well, Maybe his working Via zoom or FB chat to teach the new staff for beamng. But i will like to thank him for making mods in ROR to making the cars we all love and enjoy today in Beamng. OT. I think Wendova wonr make this update. As they still working on engine mesh. Then they got to put it in game. made extra parts ect,. I dont see it being done before march-ish 2021
He pops up every now and then on other discords and reddit so i'm sure he's fine. OT: Yeah I doubt the wendover will come soon, likely they next update possibly along with revamped JRI
He's fairly active on the Mafia Discord and he's fairly active on Reddit under u/zinklesmesh. So yeah he's fine and hasn't left the Internet.
