Update Speculation thread

This is the first time I have heard about evidence of a Bolide update IIRC. Would you mind providing sources?

Also, the rims look retextured (kinda) and I think the spoiler is a bit different from the current one.

I think this means the Update is fairly close to being released. From the official BeamNG Discord.
Feature freeze means the devs have finished with adding content so they are just focusing on bug fixes and preparing the Dev blog.
I hope the Vehicle selector UI is getting an update.

Well its true, just have a look on the net (ok im not sure about the FX-FJ), there all Opels

 

It's kinda crazy how a simple merger can basically kill an entire company's individuality.

OT: This is the first time the Hopper is getting police stuff (besides mods) right?

 

I pray so. ( been hyped as anything ) Its dec ( when most end of year updates came out. Also its 4 mouths. And to add to it Tdev if there is no massive update soon he will say. Sorry there is no update soon due to errors but will be worth it.

So tdev saying his getting the update ready may mean its due.


Or it may mean we are still getting it ready with the Tdev trademark soon

I see we've all forgotten the VE-VF existed.

 

Yeah most likely within the next week as all the additions in the update are finished so they are focusing on bugfixes and preparing the Devblog post. At least that's what I think "Feature Freeze" means.

 

As I mentioned before, I don't think there's any official confirmation of a police/park ranger config. It wouldn't be the first time the Hopper has been seen with something that hasn't made it in game as the Beam safari skin was used in unofficial posts from staff members around the time it was released.

 

All this talk of "focusing on bugfixes"... We all know that's corporate speak for "we want to have a few relaxing days of playing with it before we have to go full on support team for the release"
